There's nothing worse than going to the gym, only to have some inconsiderate lunk attack your technique and shame you for having the audacity to try and be healthy. Seriously, for some people any kind of exercise feels inherently embarrassing, and when you're feeling vulnerable, the last thing you want is to be unfairly criticised for the way you look or how you choose to work out.

That goes double for celebrities, who are often unfairly slated by mean members of the public for no good reason. However, the good news is that most of the time our favourite celebs are able to shut their detractors down pretty easily, like in the following example. Actress and writer Busy Phillips, (best known for playing the part of Kim Kelly in Judd Aptow's high school sitcom Freaks and Geeks) posted a cool selfie after an intense trampoline workout session this week.

Philips had shared the snap as part of a of a positive awareness campaign she was taking part in called #TheAwesomeChallenge, in which participants are encouraged to take pictures of what makes them feel awesome, so that the clothing subscription company Rockets Of Awesome will donate back-to-school gear to children who can't afford it themselves.

Phillips captioned the pic: "Today is #TheAwesomeChallenge and my workout every morning makes me feel awesome (even on the days when I'd rather stay in bed, like today)." However, one particularly rude troll felt the need to comment: "Ughhhh, you're rolls are showing. [sic]" Needless to say, this turned out to be a bad move on their part.

She wasted no time whatsoever in verbally slaying him where he stood, writing: "I feel like a man of your age should know the difference between YOUR and YOU'RE," Busy wrote. "YOUR is POSSESIVE, as in 'YOUR rolls are showing.' (Get it? The rolls BELONG to me.) YOU'RE is an abbreviation for YOU ARE, as in YOU'RE CLEARLY AN ASSHOLE BODYSHAMING LOSER. [sic]" Yikes. It's safe to say that she shut that troll up pretty well, but to be honest, I don't think much of her spelling and grammar either.

However, Busy's fans were pretty impressed by her clapback, and were quick to show their support. One Instagram user wrote: "I saw this post on someone else's page and had to come here to ???????????? thank you for putting that idiot in his place!" while another added: "I just want her to see this and protect herself any way she can!!! @busyphilipps I reported his account but can't tell if I can't see it because I blocked him or because they removed him!" Meanwhile, someone else chimed in: "Wow, you're an inspiration. You inspire me to look my best and start to work out again. Thank you. You look so amazing ❤"

It's good to see that Phillips is championing fitness goals and being her best self. So if you've been shamed at the gym lately, take a leaf out of her book and don't let it get you down!
