Let's face it, by now you've probably seen Ariana Grande's iconic music video for her latest single, thank u, next.

The excellent video sees Grande appearing as some of the most widely recognised faces from naughties teen movies, such as Regina George from Mean Girls and Elle Woods from Legally Blonde.

Grande had been teasing fans for weeks in the build up to video with images of her in character as a Regina George likeness, as well as a Bring It On-style cheerleader outfit.

The video itself has sent fans into an absolute frenzy, accruing 70 million views in just over a day and leading to many breathless tweets about how great the video is. To be fair, they're not wrong.

And some began sharing what their own "thank u, next" movies would be.

Even the Houston Rockets got involved.

But the most iconic mentions were still to come, as we were all waiting with baited breath to see how the stars of the original movies would react to Ariana's video. Well, we didn't have to wait for the video to even be released before Lindsay Lohan had her say, which, I think, was a very roundabout compliment.

Well now, Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Garner have chimed in, too, and they've given the video their seal of approval.

Witherspoon was particularly impressed with Grande's 'bend and snap'.

And it's safe to say Ariana was delighted to get Elle Woods' seal of approval, as she responded, "omg we tried to put our own twist on it so legal wouldn’t come for us but THANK U. this is the biggest honor. love u more than words."

Then, Jennifer Garner took to Instagram to comment on the video, writing an extremely nice message to the singer.

Ariana responded, and appeared a little overwhelmed by all the love.

You know you're doing a good job when two such iconic stars pay homage to your performance. Ariana, one thing's for sure: it's a smash.
