Everyone knows how the typical wedding day normally goes: the "I do", the rings, the first kiss, the party and the rest of your life together awaits. However, sometimes something magical happens at a wedding (aside from you tying the knot to the love of your life, I mean). Sometimes, a celebrity turns up.

While it's certainly rare, famous faces have been known to pop up at their fans' big wedding, with the most recent incident seeing Keanu Reeves dropping by to take a picture with a couple getting hitched in California.

On Saturday, the Matrix star took a quick picture with Jarrod Camara and Leslie Walker just before they said "I do" at the Dream Inn in Santa Cruz, California. The image quickly went viral after, shooting to the front page of Reddit on Monday. It's not hard to see why the photo was so popular - have you ever seen Keanu this excited?

Speaking to the Huffington Post, Jordan Camara, the groom's brother, admitted that the 54-year-old actor was as cool and collected as you'd expect.

"My brother went over and Keanu got right up and shook everyone’s hands and then did that awesome pose for the picture," he said. "He was just as calm and cool as you would think he’d be and he was happy to take a picture with them. It was really just a couple minutes right before the wedding but it made the bride and groom super happy right before they tied the knot."

Some have insisted that this wedding has cemented Keanu's status as a wedding photobomb king, given the fact that it's not the first time he has happened to crash a fan's big day. In fact, just last week, a photo the actor took with another happy couple getting married ― this time in New York ― went viral, making the rounds on Twitter.

A kilt hiring shop named Slanj Kilts uploaded the image to social media, joking that the groom had outshone the famous actor this time. "Best #Wedding Picture EVER! Moray & Maura recently got hitched in New York and were #photobombed by a rather scruffy chap passing by. We think Moray looks way better than #KeanuReeves in his stylish @slanjkilts Modern Inglis #tartan #kilt and Midnight Blue Crail kilt outfit!!", they wrote.

Speaking of Keanu Reeves and marriage, Winona Ryder recently admitted that she thinks her and the actor may have "accidentally" become husband and wife over a decade ago.

"We actually got married in Dracula," the 46-year-old Stranger Things actress told Entertainment Weekly while the promoting the pair's upcoming movie Destination Wedding.

"No, I swear to God, I think we’re married in real life," she said, revealing that during the production of the 1992 film, director Francis Ford Coppola "used a real Romanian priest" to preside over their wedding ceremony, which they filmed from beginning to end.

"Don’t you remember that? It was Valentine’s Day," she asked the 54-year-old when he didn't seem to recall the marriage. He eventually conceded, saying: "Oh my gosh, we’re married."

Gatecrashing weddings, having no idea that he's married to Winona Ryder - this is why we love Keanu Reeves.
