As you get older, it becomes harder to stay in shape, as your body just doesn't function like it used to. If you're unhappy with your body, it's hard not to feel pangs of jealousy when you see gorgeous celebrities who appear to have found the fountain of youth. Halle Berry does not look 52, Jennifer Lopez does not look 49 and Andy Samberg does not look 40! It's not fair! Why can't you stars get bald and fat and ugly like the rest of us?!

But instead of seething with anger, maybe we should pick up some tips from celebrities. Yeah, we can't afford to hire personal trainers, but we can adjust our exercise routines. And there's nobody better to take advice from than Kelly Ripa, the bubbly host of a morning talk show that airs while you're still lying in bed hungover. In a new interview published by The Cut, the 48-year-old - yes, 48, crazy, right? - opened up about her intense fitness routine.

"I was talking to a cardiologist and he said to make sure your heart beats out of your chest every day. The more you exercise, the healthier it is," said the Live with Kelly and Ryan host. "And I can be honest: My body looks like Peter Pan no matter what I do. I’ve never been a va-va-voom woman."

Ripa went to describe her workout schedule, which includes spinning at SoulCycle on the weekend and taking AKT classes at least four to least four to five times per week for two hours. (AKT stands for the Anna Keiser Technique, a fitness program that blends  dance, kickboxing, yoga, plyometrics, and strength training.) "In the summer, I like to run in Central Park because I think it’s so gorgeous," the TV personality added.

Nobody likes exercising, but if Ripa fit working out into her busy schedule, there's no reason we can't, too. She said that she tries to spend as time as possible with her three kids, and husband Mark Conseulos. However, he's gone filming the TV series Riverdale in Vancouver, Canada, she changes things up a little.

"If he is [away], I tend to stay in bed longer," said Ripa. "I make a nice big breakfast. We have stuff we don’t normally eat — pancakes, bagels, that kind of stuff. If Mark isn’t home, I tend to go to exercise class in the morning before the kids get up and then spend the day trying to declutter. Or I'm reading and hanging out with my friends."

Well, I don't know about you, but Kelly Ripa's schedule sounds a lot more healthy than my schedule. Maybe we should all take some inspiration from the queen of morning TV. If you start eating healthier and exercising every day, then maybe you could be just like these ageless celebrities. Seriously, Jennifer Lopez is 49?!
