For Kendall Jenner, however, she never has to ponder what her exes are up to - because she creates fake Instagram accounts in order to stalk them.

The supermodel spoke to the hearts of all brokenhearted people out there when she revealed her big secret on the latest Carpool Karaoke on The Late Late Show with James Corden.

Appearing on the episode with Hailey Baldwin - who is rumoured to have secretly gotten hitched to Justin Bieber last month - the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star took a lie detector test and answered a number of embarrassing questions.

While hooked up, Kendall was asked by Hailey: "Have you ever created a fake Instagram to look at what your ex-boyfriend is doing?"

Barely able to contain her laughter, Kendall replied, "You know the answer to this! Yes!" before both young women burst into giggle fits.

In the past, the 22-year-old has dated a bevvy of famous hunks, including A$AP Rocky, Ben Simmons, Blake Griffin and Harry Styles.

Presumably, Kendall creates fake accounts to stalk ex-lovers who have blocked her on social media - this raises the questions: which ex was it?! Perhaps we'll find this out on the next lie detector test...

Of course, this wasn't the only shocker to come out of the episode. When Hailey was hooked up to the lie detector, she was asked by Kendall whether Justin Bieber thought she was cool.

The model giggled and replied: "Of course". However, the lie detector soon revealed that she was telling porkies, with the pair bursting into laughter once again.

There were some more pleasant questions though, with Hailey truthfully answering she liked Kendall’s hairstyle.

Their appearance on the show comes after it was claimed that Hailey's rumoured husband Justin Bieber was still not over his ex-girlfriend, Selena Gomez, who he dated on-and-off since 2010.

A source allegedly told People Magazine: "He is not over Selena. This was his first great love and while he was young and travelling around the world as a superstar, he learned a great deal from her."

In addition, it has been alleged that the Canadian pop star is devastated over his former lover's reported "emotional breakdown".

According to TMZ, the Kill Em With Kindness singer was hospitalised in Los Angeles in the last week of September, apparently "despondent and emotional over an alarmingly low white blood cell count in the wake of her kidney transplant."

She was released from the hospital after several days, but was "re-admitted in October because her low blood cell count persisted, and it threw [her] into a downward emotional spiral."

An E! source also claimed: "Justin and Selena are not in touch but him hearing the news about Selena definitely upsets him. Justin also feels guilty. He wants to help everyone. He truly wants Selena to be happy, and it's upsetting to know she's battling health issues."
