First of all, Khloe had the stress of being pregnant to cope with - and when your weight, moods and hormones are fluctuating erratically, the last thing you want is a nasty shock.

Unfortunately, Khloe was forced to confront a crisis within her own relationship, after her boyfriend Tristan Thompson was seen making out with another woman. The former basketball player was filmed kissing a purported strip club worker named Lani Blair at The Penthouse at The Dream Downtown, New York City. The couple seems to have made amends now, and her sister Kim is back on speaking terms with Tristan, but things were rocky for a while. But now, Khloe has had to deal with her parenting methods being questioned after an Instagram story of her baby daughter True appeared to outrage social media users.

The trouble started when the new mom decided to show off baby True's new accessories in an adorable Instagram story. However, some of her eagle-eyed followers noticed that the infant appeared to be wearing gold jewellery, including ear piercings, and as a result, many of them were furious that Khloe would put her child through that kind of ordeal, especially when little True is still only two months old.

A number of commenters have since accused Khloe of being superficial and of caring about her child's appearance at the expense of her well-being. One fan wrote: "Does Khloe Kardashian’s baby have her ears pierced? Ffs sake man, what’s the point? Having your ears pierced is to accessorise and wear jewellery in order to look nice, BABIES DON'T NEED THAT! [sic]"

Another person added: "Of course @khloekardashian pierced True’s ears that whole entire family only care about how they look! I mean I’m surprised none of them have put make up on their babies yet," and a third chimed in: "I’ve just seen that Khloe Kardashian has had True’s ears pierced and I actually feel like she’s betrayed me I hate her now [sic]."
