Stop the presses! Khloe Kardashian is back, and she has something to her fans following the whole Tristan Thompson scandal.

Ever since the news broke last week that Tristan, her long-term partner and baby daddy, had been cheating on her with Jordyn Woods (Kylie Jenner's best friend), the reality star has been noticeably quieter on social media - only taking to Twitter or Instagram to share cryptic text posts or threaten Mike Fleiss over rumours he was spreading about her appearing on The Bachelorette.

Now, however, she's broken her silence in order to speak directly to all the people who have offered her kind words during this difficult time.

"Hi loves, wanted you to know that I appreciate you!" she wrote on Twitter this morning. "I’ve been reading your kind words and they really are a blessing to me. I love you! Thank you Thank you! I’ll be back when I’m in the mood to chat with you all. Until then remember to be kind to one another."

She also updated her Instagram for the first time in a week, choosing to share a few images of herself in a semi-sheer, diamond studded bodysuit (peak Kardashian) alongside her sisters, Kourtney and Kendall.

The sentiment she posted on Twitter was surprisingly sweet and well-meaning, given the circumstances, and her mini photoshoot was deliberately devoid of any and all references to her ex. This came as a shock to some fans, as she could just as easily have gone on a scathing rant about how much of a cheating lowlife Tristan has been (and who would blame her?).

While Khloe has clearly taken the high road, though, many of her followers have decided to say what she's clearly thinking.

"Yesssss Khloe!! Show him what he’s missing!!" wrote one person on her Insta shoot.

"You can’t be the worst center in the NBA AND a cheater," said another. "Pick one Tristan."

Others, however, replied to Khloe's tweet with unsolicited criticism - something the reality star definitely doesn't need right now.

"Be kind to Jordyn," said one person. "SHE IS a 21 year old kid who lost her father. She has stuck with your sister through thick & thin. What she did, all of your family have done including YOU. The person you should be mad at is TRISTAN. Understand you being upset but pray for her & youself [sic]."

Another added: "Khloe slut as slept w/Tristan when he was still living together w/his pregnant girlfriend no onE mentioned that fact. SMH. Karma's a bitch [sic]."

No matter what people think, though, Khloe is clearly choosing to move on from the issue now and put the past behind her. Knowing the Kardashians, though, we can probably expect another drama storm to emerge on the horizon sometime soon - just you wait and see.
