Unless you've somehow been living under a rock for the past week or so, you've probably heard by now that Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson are no more. The basketball player and reality star parted ways after Thompson had an affair with Jordyn Woods - none other than Kylie Jenner's best friend (drama, much!?).

So far, Khloe seems to have taken the whole thing in her stride - even after she was called out for apparently moving on too quickly after finding out she'd been cheated on.

One thing she hasn't dealt with quite as well, however, is all the rumours about her appearing on The Bachelorette.

On Twitter, show creator Mark Fleiss teased the possibility, stating, "@khloekardashian is very much in contention... Stay tuned!." In a follow-up tweet, he added, "Any decision regarding @khloekardashian as the new #TheBachelorette will need to be approved by my dear friend @KrisJenner."

But the Kardashians were not having any of it.

First of all, Kim K hit back at the claims, describing them as "fake news".

Then, after Fleiss tried to call her bluff, saying that she wouldn't know because only Kris Jenner was in on it, Kim clapped back again.

Even after all that, though, Fleiss still tried to make out that Khloe was going to be involved in the show - but this caused her to really snap.

And, while a lot of people were happy to see her coming for Fleiss in such a take-no-s**t kinda way, just about as many others were gutted to hear that she wouldn't be appearing on the TV series.

"Ok but I was actually excited to tune in????" wrote one person.

"Plz don't get the show cancelled," said another.

Right now, though, Khloe has enough on her plate to deal with. According to insiders, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star doesn't plan on cutting Tristan out of her life - but only for the sake of baby True.

"She’s very good at compartmentalizing, and at the end of the day, she wants True to have a happy relationship with both of her parents," they asserted. The source went on to say that Khloe will probably be "very cool" about the entire situation, as "she’s not one to seek revenge or hold on to negativity."

But, if her recent Instagram posts are anything to go by, it may still take a while for her to get back to normality.

So, sorry to get your hopes up, folks - Khloe probably won't be appearing on The Bachelorette anytime soon. If she keeps giving us drama like this on Twitter, though, we won't need a reality show to satisfy our cravings.
