Over the weekend, Nicki Minaj and Cardi B got into a fight at New York Fashion Week. Apparently, when it comes to female rappers, there can only be one, like Highlander. For months, the femcees have been throwing shade at each other through subliminal disses, and now it's getting real.

The bizarre fight between icons happened at Harper's Bazaar ICONS party. Cardi wanted to confront Nicki about something she allegedly said about her two-month old baby, Kulture. Supposedly the 'Queen' questioned Cardi's parenting skills; we don't know for sure. But we do know that Cardi hurled her "red bottom, bloody shoe" at Nicki, and missed the target.

Security guards escorted Cardi out of the party. But the Bodak Yellow rapper left in style - barefoot, with a ripped dress and a cartoonish lump on her forehead. Rumor has it it's the hottest look this fall. And no, the lump wasn't from Nicki. A security guard accidentally elbowed Cardi in the forehead during the chaos. In response, Cardi posted a furious message about You-Know-Who on Instagram.

"I've let a lot of sh*t slide! I let you sneak diss me, I let you lie on me, I let you attempt to stop my bags, f**k up the way I eat... But when you mention my child, you choose to like comments about me as a mother, make comments about my abilities to take care of my daughter is when all bets are f**kin off!!"

Today Nicki Minaj shared her side of the story on an episode of Queen Radio. Previously, she accused Cardi of not writing her own lyrics, and bribing radio stations to play her singles. Of course, since Nicki didn't provide any evidence of payola, she might have just been jealous Cardi sold more albums. Anyway, on today's show, she defended her honor and blasted Cardi B:

"The other night I was part of something so mortifying and so humiliating to go through in front of a bunch upper echelon... I just want people to know that Onika Tanya Maraj has never, will never... speak ill on anyone’s child. I am not a clown. That’s clown sh*t...

"You knew that when that footage came out, you was about to look fucking dumb... I’m such a ill-ass bitch I didn’t even feel the need to defend myself that night... The world gave you a blessing, of a beautiful bundle of joy, and the only thing on your mind after you [gave birth] was to attack people and to stop their bags.... Do you know what it is to sit in your room for hours and days at a time writing raps? You came into my f***ing culture!

"This is about, Get this woman some f***ing help. This woman is at the best stage of her career and she’s throwing bottles?... Who the f**k is gonna give her an intervention? You n****s don’t care until somebody’s fucking dead.... This shit ain’t fucking funny. You put your hands on certain people, you gonna die. Period."

It's hard to take a death threat seriously from someone who makes comedic songs like Barbie Dreams and booty-shaking anthems like Anaconda. But hey, watch your back, Cardi. And watch out for shoes, Nicki. Can't we all just get along?
