When Kanye West announced his support for President Donald Trump, he not only risked a large section of his fan base, but also many of his famous friends.

It appears that the majority of Hollywood is firmly against the Republican leader - and if a fellow A-lister expresses his or her support for him, they're immediately on the outs.

This became clear when the rapper posted a picture of himself wearing a Make America Great Again hat to Instagram after going on a highly-publicised pro-Trump rant on SNL last weekend.

In the caption, he stated that the photo represented "good and America becoming whole again", adding: "We will no longer outsource to other countries. We build factories here in America and create jobs.  We will provide jobs for all who are free from prisons as we abolish the 13th amendment. Message sent with love".

After the image was published, it caught the attention of fellow rap star Snoop Dogg, who certainly didn't agree with West's views and decided to make it clear with a savage comment.

The Drop It Like It's Hot star's sly snipe came after DJ Pooh, an American producer, posted the picture of Ye with the caption: "MAGA - Music Ain't Getting Attention".

This acronym was the one that kept on giving though: Snoop Dogg immediately hopped on the bandwagon writing "Make ya music great again n***a" in the comment section.

He later added: 'Uncle Tom. A** n***a"; in the past, the phrase "Uncle Tom" was traditionally used against black people to suggest they were subservient to white people, and to imply they supported ideas that hurt their 'own people.'

In spite of his angry remarks on Instagram, it seems all was later forgiven between Snoop and West, with the Ain't No Fun star later posting a video of his fellow rapper wearing an old school Snoop t-shirt , with the caption "Forgiveness is everything ???✨☝?".

It's not the first time Snoop has blasted the 41-year-old for his political leanings though. During a Siriux XM interview in September, Snoop Dogg went on a vulgar rant, slamming Kanye and "racist" Trump.

Speaking about West, Snoop said, "Well you need to know that a lot of your fans is racist. Ain't no f*cking way around it. I tell 'em straight up muthaf*cker. If you like that n**** [Trump] you muthaf*cken racist. F*ck you and f*ck him. Now what? N**** he drew the lines. He drew the muthaf*ckin’ lines. Before him there were no lines."

Kanye has posted a selfie of himself wearing a Donald Trump “Make America Great Again” baseball cap on his Twitter feed - before revealing it is signed by the president himself. Following his selfie, the rapper then tweeted a close-up of the autographed cap on Twitter, where he wrote: 'My MAGA hat is signed,' alongside numerous fire emojis. West is an outspoken supporter of President Trump and earlier in the day tweeted: 'You don't have to agree with Trump but the mob can't make me not love him. We are both dragon energy. He is my brother. I love everyone. I don't agree with everything anyone does. That's what makes us individuals. And we have the right to independent thought.' The President responded to the rapper on Twitter saying: 'Thank you Kanye, very cool!'<br /></div>[[imagecaption||Pictured: Kanye West<br /> BACKGRID USA 25 APRIL 2018<br /> BYLINE MUST READ: BAHE / BACKGRID<br /> USA: +1 310 798 9111 / usasales@backgrid.com<br /> UK: +44 208 344 2007 / uksales@backgrid.com<br /> *UK Clients - Pictures Containing Children<br /> Please Pixelate Face Prior To Publication* Credit: Getty]]

The Doggystyle rapper added that he believes that since Trump took office, racism has become a bigger problem, stating: "[Before 2017] everybody was everybody, we respected everything, we didn't trip, but n**** when you drew the line and start pointing muthaf*cker out and singling them out n*** f*ck y’all then n****. You and them. Kanye too. Don't forget about him too. F*** you too. Throw him in the bag, 'cause he right there with the muthaf*cker."

Snoop Dogg isn't the only celebrity who is unhappy about Kanye's support for Trump. In fact, one celebrity also made their disdain crystal clear on the rapper's Instagram photo of his MAGA hat...
