With just a month to go until the final season of Game of Thrones makes it to our screens, fans are somehow even more hyped about the show than they've ever been before. Social media has exploded with wild theories, superfans have spent hours poring over minute details in past episodes and trailers, and even the cast have been a little more open about the upcoming season than they were previously.

And, thanks to the new trailer, many people think they've spotted a hint about what might be in store for Jon Snow and his (spoiler alert for those who aren't up to date) newly-discovered Targaryen blood.

Here's the epic trailer if you haven't had a chance to watch it already:

As you'll remember from the last season, Jon meets Daenerys for the first time, and they very quickly - uh - hit it off. Unbeknownst to Jon, however, Dany is his aunt.

Of course, the undead Night's Watchman had no way of knowing he was related to the Khaleesi, but he should maybe have got an inkling in the season 7 episode 'Eastwatch', when one of Dany's dragon's, Drogon, let Jon pet him. As we know by now, dragons are fiercely loyal to Targaryens, and very rarely let anyone from other houses interact with them.

But a dragon's bond with a Targaryen goes further than that. As we know from Daenerys' antics over the past few seasons, those from the dragon house can also ride on the creatures - and fans think that the new trailer hints at Jon being able to do just that.

This shot, in particular, is what kicked off the theory:

Two Targaryens, two dragons - one of whom happens to be named after Jon's real father, Rhaegar. You do the math.

But that's not the only hint the trailer has given away, of course.

We've also been shown that Tormund Giantsbane is still alive (thank the gods!), that Arya is running from an enemy while carrying a dragonglass spearhead, and that Cersei seems genuinely shaken up by something that's about to happen to her.

And yet, it left us with so many more questions than it answered. How did Tormund survive? Who is Arya running from? And why is Cersei so worried?

Thankfully, we only have a matter of weeks to wait for everything to be revealed.
