If you're anything like millions of other people out there, you're getting pretty worried about tonight.

Nope, it's not a case of the Sunday blues, it's not your Sunday hangover and it's not the idea of going to bed tonight and realising you might have a two-day headache on your hands.

Tonight, ladies and gentleman, the final episode ever of Game of Thrones airs.

This is the trailer for tomorrow's final ever episode. Do you think it'll be the pay off the fans deserve?

But if your anxiety is at an all-time high, you've come to the wrong place.

Amid terrible reviews of season eight - in particular, that hotly-debated fifth episode - Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner has come out and admitted that the finale may not give fans the ending they want. In fact, the actress confessed that it's likely to "upset a lot of people".

Speaking to The Sunday Times Magazine, Sophie claimed she loved how the hit HBO show ends - but not everyone will. "It’s a great ending, from my perspective, it’s very satisfying, she said. "But I think a lot of people will be upset too."

So, we'll be over here, hyperventilating all day. Cheers, Soph.

The X-Men: Dark Phoenix star went on to open up about Game of Thrones being finally over, saying she was finding it hard to separate herself from her character Sansa, given that she's been playing her for almost 10 years now.

"I’ve had a bit of an identity crisis to be honest, I’ve grown up for so many years as this character," she admitted. "If I wasn’t filming, I was promoting it, if I wasn’t promoting it then it was on TV. I was immersed in Sansa, so finally stepping out of it, I don’t actually know what I like to do or who I really am."

The 23-year-old is far from the first star to warn that we may be left feeling flat by tonight's episode. In fact, a viral video of Emilia Clarke from last year seems to sum up her feelings about the conclusion to season eight quite nicely.

Not to mention, Peter Dinklage's dead-behind-the-eyes response as to how he felt about the show's ending in this 2018 interview tells us a lot.

So, will the finale to Game of Thrones be everything we need and more? We'll find out in a matter of hours.
