With warmer, sunnier climates hopefully just around the river bend, Snapple has announced a new beverage that is sure to have you dreaming of lazy days by the beach or pool.

Spotted by Instagram account jnkyrdnyc, the new flavor is dubbed 'Pineapple of my Eye', and was most favourably reviewed.

"Limited Time Only! @snapple ‘Pineapple of my EYE’ ? I often forget to look at Snapple’s when I’m on junk hunts... so I just heard about this. Easy find and it’s actually really good (which I expected). Not too tangy and the carrot juice blend wasn’t overbearing, it was a great addition to this drink! Cop it if you spot it!

It appears that the new pineapple flavor hasn't found its way onto the Snapple website yet under their list of flavors, however, as Delish points out, they did file a trademark for the pineapple of my eye name back in 2018.

According to Best Products, the new flavor is being rolled out for a limited time, though information on just how long that would be was not made clear.

Best Products also notes that it was this time last year that Snapple released its lemonade line, consisting of Strawberry Pineapple Lemonade, Black Cherry Lemonade, and Watermelon Lemonade flavors. These are all still available in stores.

The new pineapple flavor seems to lend itself to some fruity summer cocktails pretty well, so let's all dream of happy sunny days, fruity Snapple cocktail mixes and simpler times.

In the meantime, if you want to enhance your baking skills during this period of self isolation, then one woman has shared her genius method of making a loaf of bread in a slow cooker.
