Despite looking the way I do, I have managed to score one or two dates during my time. And, while I was on those dates, I did my absolute best to pay attention to the person I was with. That's sort of what you do on a first date, right? You take in their interests, their sense of humor, and - perhaps more than anything at first glance - their appearance.

So, when one woman headed out to a Tinder date wearing nothing but a pair of underwear, a couple of nipple pasties and a ton of body paint, everyone expected the guy to notice right away.

Amazingly, though, she made it (almost) through the whole date without being called out - though one or two passersby definitely noticed something a little off.

Joy, a model, had her body painted by YouTuber and professional artist Jen The Body Painter, before heading out to meet a guy she matched with on Tinder.

Before she heads out, she seems a little nervous but mostly excited as she's asked, "Have you ever been on a Tinder date before?"

"I have been on a Tinder date before - but this is my first time painted," she says. "The guy I picked [for the date] is a comedian, so he's really really funny. I'm looking forward to meeting him and seeing his reaction. I don't know if he's even going to notice because this is, like, awesome."

Talking about the paint job, Joy says, "I feel covered, so I'm really confident - and I feel pretty!"

She then goes to wait for her date at the mall, at which point she's wearing a coat (presumably to cover her nude butt), and stays in touch with the Jen's team using a microphone.

Right from the beginning of the date, she drops hints to the guy that she's not wearing real clothes. "I don't want to eat anywhere 'cause I don't want to get fat," she says. "I'm afraid it's going to show through my clothes. I look a little preggo or something."

Even after she removes her coat, the guy says nothing. More astoundingly than that - she actually gets her date to take off the smaller jacket she had underneath, and he still doesn't notice that he's just taken off the only real item of clothing she had on.

However, a few seconds later, it seems like he might have twigged.

"I like your outfit," he says, before adding, "for a few seconds, I thought you were naked."

Joy laughs it off, saying, "Why would you say that?"

The date continues a little awkwardly for a while, with the pair of them fumbling through the usual small-talk - but at one point Joy's game is almost given away by a kid at the mall.

"That's bodypainted!" shouts a young girl who passes the first-daters while they're on an escalator. Luckily, the guy doesn't notice, and Joy appears to be in the clear.

Shortly after, the jig seems to be truly up when a group of girls approach Joy and ask to take a picture with her. They ask her all about the body paint, and it looks like there's no hiding it from her date anymore.

However, he only finally twigs when the pair go outside - and it's raining. At that point, she has to confess that her clothes are, in fact, nothing more than a few brushstrokes on her bare skin.

Overall, though, the pair seemed to really enjoy their date, and it looks as if they were keen to meet up again; hopefully with real clothes next time!
