Forget about Hurricane Florence and the Russia investigation - it's time for some real news. Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin got married! It's been a whirlwind romance for the couple, who just started dating last May. In July, Justin announced their engagement, with an emotional message on Instagram.

"Listen plain and simple Hailey I am soooo in love with everything about you! So committed to spending my life getting to know every single part of you loving you patiently and kindLY... My heart is COMPLETELY and FULLY YOURS and I will ALWAYS put you first! You are the love of my life Hailey Baldwin and I wouldn’t want to spend it with anybody else. "

Ever since the proposal, Jailey fans have been wondering when the couple will tie the knot. I don't know about you, but I've been dying with anticipation. When I'm driving, I constantly check my phone, hitting refresh on TMZ, to see if Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin are married. So far, I've gotten in seven car accidents, but it's totally worth it, a small price to pay for love.

On Thursday, Justin, 24, and Hailey, 21, visited a New York City courthouse and got legally married. A source close told People, "They went ahead and did it without listening to anyone." Also, a "religious source" said they still plan to have a traditional, extravagant ceremony with family and friends. "They’re going to have a big blowout, in front of God and everyone they love," said the religious source.

By the way, I'm glad we're getting this information from a "religious source." You can't trust those dirty atheist sources. And don't get me started on agnostic sources - who knows what they believe?

Anyway, TMZ published a photo of the couple walking into the building, and reported some inside info from eyewitnesses. According to sources inside the Marriage Bureau, Justin was extremely emotional - i.e. crying - and told Hailey, "I can't wait to marry you, baby." Then, after they were issued the license or whatever, Justin told a court official, "Thanks for keeping it on the DL."

But what about their big, blow-out wedding ceremony, with Hailey's killer roster of bridesmaids? There's no word on when that will take place, but Hailey described a potential revenue in an interview with The Cut. "I just picture lights strung everywhere," said Hailey. "I think having it in the woods would be so beautiful." She added, "My sister will be my bridesmaid. I was hers last years. And maybe Justin’s little sister as a flower girl."

Today many young people wait until their 30's to get married, and spend their 20's in a drunken blur of one-night-stands and awful Tinder dates. However, Hailey doesn't think 24 is too young to make lifetime commitment to someone. "My sister was 24 when she got married, and my parents also got married when they were young, too," she told The Cut.  "I see no reason to wait. When you know it’s right, it’s right."

Well, congratulations to the happy couple. There's no word yet on how Selena Gomez feels, but hopefully she's not 'crushed.'

UPDATE: According to TMZ, Hailey Baldwin shot down reports they were married, saying, ""I understand where the speculation is coming from, but I'm not married yet!" So, does that mean they visited a New York City courthouse, and didn't get married? Does Hailey mean that legally they got married, but she doesn't consider herself married, until she has the big, extravagant ceremony? Hopefully journalists will stop reporting on Hurricane Florence and the Russia investigation and discover the truth about this important issue.
