These are the identical twins who spent $20,000 on cosmetic surgery to look like Brad Pitt
Bradd Pitt is often regarded as one of the most attractive men on the planet. After rising to fame throughout the early 90's and 00's, Pitt was admired by both men and women across the world for his good looks, charm and often underrated acting abilities. But while many of us admired Pitt from afar, some people went a bit overboard with their admiration of the Hollywood star.
We are now living in an age where cosmetic surgery is not only acceptable, but it's also now accessible. While plastic surgery used to be something that was seen as a luxury only the super-rich and famous could afford, it is now available to the average Joe.
Many people say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery and in the past year, we've seen plenty of people try and emulate the looks of their idols. We've had women who want to look like Jessica Rabbit and Barbie, as well as a man trying to become the Human Ken Doll. But while these characters are fictional and can't send gratitude to their fans if they wished, Brad Pitt is able to do that - if he wanted to.
Twin brothers Matt and Mike Schlepp, from Arizona, US, have spent $20,000 on cosmetic surgery across the years in order to look like Brad Pitt. The brothers have had to endure months of agonising surgery that has left them unable to eat proper meals as they desperately tried to replicate the handsome looks of the "Fight Club" and "Inglorious Basterds" actor.
Mike claims that he has had a nose job as well as having cheek, jaw and chin implants, while Matt says that he has has a nose job and a chin implant. Not just content with the facial restructuring, between them, the two have also had 41 porcelain veneers.
The twins underwent the procedure when they were just 21-years-old, appearing on the MTV makeover show, I Want A Famous Face. Appearing on the show, Matt said:
"It was more than worth it.
"I would do it ten times over. It has definitely helped me get more girls. I'll walk and get that double-take from girls and hear the whispering that follows.
"I've had such a dramatic change that girlfriends I hadn't seen in a while couldn't stop staring, and said they wanted to cry! If that doesn't make you feel good, then what would?"
I'm not sure that girl whispering about me and wanting to cry when they see me would make me feel good, but there you go. Mike agreed with his brother, adding:
"I never knew that I could be as happy as I am right now.
"I feel on top of the world by the few tweaks that I went through. Go through with the surgery now because you don't want to go through life always feeling down with the way that you look."
I Want A Famous Face stopped airing in 2005 and it's not known if the brothers went on to get more surgery or were happy with their results. It's also not known if Pitt every saw the twins transformation, or what he though of it. But, while it's easy to laugh at them as they don't look anything like Brad Pitt in the slightest, if the surgery has made them happy, good luck to them.
