Michael B. Jordan reveals he has hooked up with fans who slide into his DMs
Michael B. Jordan has a lot of enthusiastic fans out there. Before this year, he already had plenty of career-making roles in the likes of The Wire, Fruitvale Station and Creed, but in 2018 things were taken to another level. Now he's even got Nicki Minaj hitting on him on live television.
When Black Panther was released back in February, it became one of the biggest movies of the year - with Jordan taking the spotlight as the film's compelling villain. But it wasn't just his characterisation that fans were fawning over - but how ripped he got for the role.
In fact, one teenage girl was so overwhelmed by how he looked that she actually bit through her retainer.
A tumblr user, who was later confirmed to be this girl's orthodontist, wrote:
"One of my patients came in for an emergency visit, because she snapped the wire on her retainer watching the movie when MBJ took his shirt off she clenched her teeth so f****** hard she snapped it. that is the f******* funniest sh** ever to me this tiny 17 year old girl thirsting so goddamn hard she busted steel."
Things only got more embarrassing for the poor girl once the internet starting joking about it, and then her dad got involved...
Then, to everyone's surprise, Jordan actually responded to the viral story, offering to pay for the retainer.
From this and numerous other stories, it's clear that Jordan is active on Twitter and more than willing to engage with his fans, but it seems that he may be active on the platform more than we initially thought...
Appearing on a recent episode of the The Ellen Show, DeGeneres had both Jordan and Chrissy Teigen as guests, and they spoke about the actor's GQ 'Man of the Year' cover shoot, before things moved onto this love life. Jordan is single, to the bafflement of Ellen, Chrissy, and people all over the world - but it looks like he's having fun with it.
"I've been working crazy, so I'm not really having the time to properly date," he explained, but they weren't having any of it. Ellen asks him about whether he finds it flattering having so many women out their crushing on him, but it's Teigen who gets straight to the point, asking him if he has ever hooked up via direct messages.
"Yes I have," Jordan responded, surprising everyone watching. "I have, I'm human, I'm human," he added sheepishly. "Not often, but yes, I have."
Jordan later clarified that he's a bit too classy to do that - maybe.
Regardless, it was enough to send his fans on Twitter into a riot.
If his inbox wasn't flooded with DMs already, they surely are now. This little clip is practically a call for more, whether he wants them or not.
