Prince Louis steals the show as William and Kate release their festive greeting card
2018 has been a big year for the Royal Family. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stole most of the limelight when they tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony back in May, and kept their names in the headlines when they announced they were expecting their first child only a few months later.
However, before all that happened, Prince William and Duchess Kate Middleton welcomed their third child into the world.
Prince Louis Arthur Charles, born on April 27th, is the couple's third child, and the youngest sibling of George and Charlotte.
From his very first day on earth, little Louis was thrust into the limelight, and immediately won over the hearts of the British public with his chubby cheeks and adorable smile.
And now, at 8 months old, he's still charming people. Just take a look at William and Kate's Christmas card, which was released earlier today:
At the time of writing, the photo had managed to secure more than a million likes after being up on Instagram for just four hours - and the comments show just how much people adore the infant royal.
"I adore this Royal family so much," said one commenter.
"Love this!" added another. "It’s so nice to see them in more relaxed attire, just enjoying their time together as a family. And the light is gorgeous!"
The snap was taken in the woodland at their Anmer Hall home in Norfolk, and is one of the few official pictures of the family together. Throughout the year, though, they have released a few other snaps of little Louis - sometimes with a few other royals involved.
In this shot, the three royal children are enjoying some quality time with their grandparents and aunt and uncle:
This one shows a tiny baby Louis in his mother's arms at his christening:
And here's the gorgeous little lad on Princess Charlotte's third birthday:
Many eagle-eyed fans noticed that the cardigan Charlotte is wearing in the Christmas card is the same one that she wore on her third birthday - and it's actually one that used to be owned by Prince George. He sported it in a number of photos when he was younger, including one snap that was taken on the Queen's 90th birthday.
This is also the first time that Prince George has worn trousers for an official picture, as he has always worn shorts in the past.
Needless to say, all three of the royal children look adorable, and their parents look like they're loving life, too.
It'll be interesting to see how different they look by the time next year's card is released - and, who knows, perhaps Harry and Meghan's firstborn will be in the shot, too!
