There are plenty of good-looking and talented actors out there, but sometimes it takes one (or even a few) high-profile opportunities for them to break through into stardom. Michael B Jordan has been acting since he was a child, and putting out good material on the big and small screen for years, but it's in 2018 that he's really hit the big time.

In February this year, he played Killmonger in Black Panther - and ended up being one of the most highly-praised aspects of the movie, both for his acting - and his incredible look. In fact, one girl bit through her retainer when she saw him in the movie, a viral incident that ended up with the star offering to reimburse her for what she lost.

But you know you've really made it when it's not just fans on Twitter who are crushing hard on you, but well-known celebrities like Nicki Minaj. When accepting an award for female artist of 2018 at the People's Choice Awards this year, the rapper heavily implied she was eager to hook up with him, saying:

"Shout out to Donatella Versace for custom making this outfit for me, and shout out to Michael B Jordan cause he's going to be taking it off of me tonight!"

But while he was undoubtedly chuffed that she name-dropped him in such a way, it's his fans that he actually interacts with online - and some more than a quick tweet.

For instance, there was recently a meme going around Twitter, and one Michael B Jordan-themed one was pretty funny, but no one expected it to actually amount to anything other than a lot of retweets.

Obviously photoshopping the actor into a photo of herself, Bolu Babalola wrote: "I met this guy on holiday this summer-we had a such a great connection but I changed my number and we lost touch. Twitter do your thing."

People had a strong response to it, and Bolu kept the joke up with her mock-serious replies:

[[twitterwidget||https://twitter.com/BeeBabs/status/1066625626612871168]]

But then things started to take a turn - especially when she replied to her own Twitter thread to note that she was heading to the Creed II Q&A in London the next day.

[[twitterwidget||https://twitter.com/BeeBabs/status/1067939007315828737]]

During the Q&A session for the movie, she had a genuine (and pretty good, I might add) question about the film - but then she went and mentioned the tweet - something that Jordan had apparently heard about.

[[twitterwidget||https://twitter.com/BeeBabs/status/1067923486067302400]]

And someone caught her question on video:

She took to Twitter that night to explain what went down:

[[twitterwidget||https://twitter.com/BeeBabs/status/1067879198973444096]]

[[twitterwidget||https://twitter.com/BeeBabs/status/1067879259392356352]]

And then she finally got a real photo with her crush:

[[twitterwidget||https://twitter.com/BeeBabs/status/1068113135356260352]]

While this was an incredibly fortunate series of events for Bolu, it turns out that Jordan's pretty active online. In fact, he recently revealed that he has hooked up with people who slid into his DMs in the past...
