In recent months, we've heard a lot about people going under the knife in order to make themselves look like another famous figure. There's Rodrigo Alves, who is perhaps better known as the
Human Ken Doll, various women who have enhanced their appearances in order to look more like Barbie, and, most recently, a woman who claimed to have had over fifty operations to become
Angelina Jolie (but that turned out to be mostly the work of photoshop).
Now, news of another person who has chosen to surgically alter her natural looks has emerged.
Berry Ng, a 22-year-old
YouTube personality from Hong Kong, has reportedly had more than two dozen operations in the last five years in order to make herself look more like an adult film star - but she insists that she is "not a surgery monster".
Ng's ambitions to look like a porn star apparently stemmed from her boyfriend's wishes. According to her, her partner would frequently comment on the appearances of women he watched in pornographic films, and was particularly drawn to larger breasts.
“He would shout ‘How big! How great,'" Ng said, speaking of her boyfriend's response to seeing larger-chested women on television.
But, rather than just accepting that she did not look like any of these adult film actresses, and that her boyfriend was being pretty shallow about what she looked for in a woman, Ng decided to change her own appearance in order to look more like the women her boyfriend was lusting after.
However, that turned out to be a big mistake.

Unfortunately, the YouTuber's boyfriend barely paid any attention to Ng after she had a breast augmentation, and even asked her why she had bothered undergoing the expensive (and painful) surgery.
Not only that, but he also showed little reaction to Berry even after she had changed her forehead, lips, eyelids, nose, and chin. The young woman changed virtually every aspect of her face in an attempt to please him, but he still didn't care at all.
“At that moment, if he had stopped me and told me that I was beautiful enough, I would have stopped, but he didn’t," she said.
As a result, she ended their relationship, and now says she deeply regrets changing herself for him.

Though she had her first alteration at age 17, Berry actually had most of her surgical procedures last year at age 21, and reportedly spent around $3,000 in total over the years.
She received a lot of negativity from people - both in real life and over the internet - because of her decision to have so many surgeries, and started getting fed up of people judging her for her outward appearance. According to her, the tipping point came when her mother saw her shortly after her last surgery and cried because of how different she looked.
Now, she uses her platform to encourage others to avoid doing what she did. She says that changing for someone else is never advisable, and people should think carefully about making alterations before going ahead and doing it.
More than anything, though, she just wants to let people know that, although her face has changed, she's still the same
good person underneath. "I may have a very fake face," she said, "but I have a truer heart than most."
