A dog has warmed hearts on social media after going viral for looking like Snoopy from the Peanuts cartoon strip.

The Internet's new furry friend is named Bayley - a one-year-old black and white Mini Sheepadoodle who is the offspring of an Old English sheepdog and a miniature poodle, according to her Instagram page.

While Charles M. Schulz's Snoopy is a beagle, it doesn't stop the uncanny resemblance between the real-life dog and the cartoon. The pair share similar features such as having a white face and muzzle, floppy black ears, and a cute black button nose.

Bayley amassed massive attention online after the Doodle Dogs Club took to their Instagram account to introduce her to its staggering 230,000 followers.

Check out the adorable post below:

"Meet @Bayley.Sheepadoodle, the spitting image of Snoopy! With those big ears and that button nose, Bayley is the perfect real-life version of our favorite cartoon dog," the post read.

As of this writing, the post has garnered over 1.4 million likes on the social media platform, with many users sharing awe-stricken reactions to the similarity between the dog and the cartoon.

One person wrote: "After googling 'black and white beagles' this dog looks more like Snoopy than a beagle ever could! Especially cause beagles heads are too small, and they don’t have his pattern. This dog is officially live action Snoopy."

Another user said: "Omg my childhood dream come true! I've always wanted there to be a REAL life Snoopy!"

A third commented: "Oh he's freaking adorable," while a fourth person shared: "It looks like a stuffed toy Snoopy!"

Even folks on Twitter couldn't get enough of Bayley, as one user remarked: "Im losing my mind over this omg."

A second user interjected: "HE DOES EXIST!!!"

Bayley's owner recently shared a heartwarming video on their account - which goes by the handle @Bayley.Sheepadoodle - and it shows the pup giving a paw to mark National Pet Day.

The caption read: "Happy National Pet Day. Mom says I am the cutest pet she has ever seen but to be fair, I am her first and the only furbaby."

Snoopy was designed by cartoonist Charles Schulz and debuted in 1950. He is one of the world’s most famous illustrated dogs and has appeared in Peanuts films and TV specials.

In other news, the iconic dog made headlines recently as people donated blood in order to get an exclusive t-shirt with Snoopy as part of a distribution from The American Red Cross and their partnership with the Peanuts brand.
