We've all heard the saying "it's a dog's life", but it rings true for some doggos more than others. Case in point, this British company, which is looking for dogs and their owners to review luxury cottage holidays.
Canine Cottages has just launched its third annual Canine Critics competition to find 10 lucky dogs and their owners to go on free UK-based holidays.
The lucky dogs and their owners will become brand ambassadors and go on the ground to review cottage holidays, post on the company's social media channels, and generally just live the dream!
The popularity of the job has exploded in recent years, with the number of applicants rising from 7,000 in its debut year to a staggering 50,000 in 2019, Tyla reports.
The lucky chosen doggos will be paid with a $1,291 (£1,000) voucher for a cottage holiday, a bag of treats, and they'll also be featured on the Canine Cottages website and social media pages.
The application process for this dream job is very simple; all you have to do is upload a picture of your pooch and complete the online form, which is available here.
Canine Cottages Digital PR Manager, Shannon Keary said: "Our 2019 campaign was phenomenally successful and we were overwhelmed with the caliber and quantity of entries.
"The chosen 2019 Critics have been amazing and we've loved having them as ambassadors for our brand. Now we cannot wait to recruit ten, new top dogs for 2020.
"We're on the hunt for a diverse selection of 'real' dogs who love to explore the UK and have their photo taken, as well as a willing human to sit, stay and lie down with!"
Last year's winner from the Midlands, Woody and his human said of the job: "There were so many amazing things about being chosen as the Midlands' Canine Critic but I think if we had to pick one, it would be the getting chosen part!
"Woody's my hero and for one year, he was also the Midlands' hero - that's pretty special and I don't think anything can beat that feeling. I just wanted to bottle it up!"
