It's often said that there's nothing quite like a mother's love, and this is something that often rings true in the Animal Kingdom as well.
Case in point, this elephant who was captured on film pushing tourists out of the way so that her caretaker could sing a soothing lullaby to her calf.
The incident took place at Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai province, Northern Thailand, and the elephant can be seen gently moving tourists out of the way.
The rescue and rehabilitation center was created to rescue distressed elephants and give them a better life.

Caretaker Lek Chailert has been looking after the baby elephant Faa Mai since she was born, and they have a close bond, but even she wasn't sure what her mother was doing at first.
Faa Mai then pulls the caretaker towards her calf with her trunk, and it's then that the caretaker guessed that she should sing the lullaby.
The video's description reads: "While I was meeting with visitors, Faa Mai suddenly intruded on our talk with clear intent. She pushed me along out into the field, directing me somewhere and I wondered what it was that she really wanted.
"Finally, Faa Mai took me to see the little Thong Ae, whom she wants to adopt as her own. In the end, it seems as if Faa Mai wanted me to lullaby her little friend, as she is so fond when I sing a lullaby to her. It is so beautiful to see my little girl who has such a heart of care. I am so proud of this girl!"

However, according to Bored Panda, this isn't the first time that Faa Mai's shown off her excellent motherly skills, and she "adopted" another younger elephant that was rescued by the park.
