A pedestrian has captured the moment a woman picked up her dog "by its skin", before proceeding to roughly manhandle it as she throws it in the back of a truck.
The awful moment was filmed by high school student and animal lover Clayton Brandenberg, who spotted the woman - who has not been identified - as she was parked outside a strip mall in Foley, Alabama. The woman is then seen throwing the canine in the truck where another dog is waiting.

Brandenberg can be heard saying "What is your problem?’" as he witnessed the abuse over the weekend.
The abuse then continues as the dog owner is seen slapping the dog as it moved back while in the tailgate of the truck.
Brandenberg started filming the woman before her rough handling of the pooch had even taken place, according to WKRG.
The news outlet further reports that the teenager saw the dogs moving around energetically and barking seemingly in glee and decided to capture the moment so he could share it with his girlfriend. He had no idea what would be coming next.
Brandenburg told WKRG: "I saw the dogs and I was like Oh it’s a cute dog. I just love dogs. He was trying to jump in the truck. She started doing what she did and it was awful to see what she was doing. In my head, I was thinking 'Why is she doing this? This dog does not deserve it'.
"Part of me wanted to get out and say something, but you never know these days. It is surprising but I know it goes on. Some people think that’s a way to get their animals to listen."
