Baffling moment man spots two dogs relaxing and sitting on chairs in backyard

Sometimes, we all need a reminder that pets act differently when their owners aren't around - and here's one of them.

This week, a bizarre video filmed by an Australian man went viral on social media, showing a pair of pooches apparently enjoying some much-needed chill-out time together.

According to the Daily Mail Australia, the footage in question was captured by a TikTok user going by the handle @saxby2.0, who was driving around the suburbs of his local neighborhood after finishing work, when he suddenly spotted the dogs' strange behavior.

The TikTok clip begins with him stating to the camera: "I was driving home from work, and looking out [my] window when I saw something that made me go: 'what the f**k is that?'"

The camera then pans to the left to show a golden Labrador and brown pitbull crossbreed, sitting right next to each other and upright on folding lawn chairs in someone's back yard.

Pulling up next to the casual-looking canines, the driver then tried to engage them in some conversation, asking: "What are you two on? ... I don’t know who you are, and who you belong to but why are you sitting on chairs like that?"

The footage quickly managed to accrue over 450,000 views, as well as over 1,000 comments from TikTok users who were amused, amazed, and astounded by the strange behavior of the animals.

For instance, one TikTok user wrote: "I don't know what's funnier, the dogs using the chairs or the fact their owner placed them there just for them!! [sic]"

Meanwhile, someone else added: "I am laughing so much at this. I've watched about 10 times. [sic]" While another person chimed in: "Ooo both turned their head at the same time creepy stuff [sic]"
