There's nothing worse than encountering a massive creepy-crawly when you're stuck in a confined space.

When there's no escape from it and it's claustrophobic enough for you to brush up against one another, that giant insect can seem twice as scary, and I'm sure many people have had the unwelcome experience of being stuck in a car with a big bug before.

Watch this disturbing video of a huntsman spider being carried away by a giant wasp:

Indeed, a video has gone viral on social media this week, after an unfortunate woman was terrified by a gigantic huntsman spider that decided to hitchhike a ride in her car.

The footage in question was uploaded by an Australian TikTok user going by the handle "@coolchloe180" on November 26.

In it, Chloe and three of her friends can be seen driving along the coast of Mullaloo near Perth before one of them screams in horror at the sight of the massive arachnid crawling across the car's roof.

Take a look at Chloe's hilarious footage of the incident in the video below:

As you can see in the footage above, all four shocked passengers began panicking as the eight-legged beast scurried around and clambered onto the windscreen in front of Chloe's face.

Sharing the scary video on TikTok, Chloe captioned her post: "so this happened whilst i was driving... let’s say i already don’t like spiders and i’m suprised i didn’t crash. [sic]"

Suffice it to say, the video has picked up a lot of attention on the platform, boasting over 63,500 views, 6,900 reactions, and over 300 comments as of the time of writing.

For instance, one TikTok user wrote in the comments: "okay this scares me considering [you're] driving along the coast in Mullaloo and I've never seen a spider that big in Perth." Meanwhile, someone else added: "This is the funniest thing I've seen all day."

However, this isn't the first time that one of these arachnids has gone viral. Check out this article we penned all about the huntsman spider one guy found crawling up his headphones.
