Lockdown has meant that many of us have had to turn our hand to hairdressing. However, as anyone who has ever given themselves or someone else a home cut knows, things can and often do go wrong.

(Unless, of course, you're lucky enough to be Bella Hadid, who looks excellent with her quarantine bangs.)

Now, one woman has taken to the popular Facebook group Golden Retrievers UK to reveal that she accidentally turned her Golden Retriever into a "piggy bank" in a grooming fail that will leave you grinning from ear to ear.

The post read: "Has anyone else had a shaving accident [?]

"[I] was trimming my husband beard and she came up behind me I was like oh yeah I'll shave the dog (jokingly) and she moved her head and now has this line in her head.

"She looks like a money box and I can't even look at her without crying."

Meanwhile, on the subject of quarantine haircuts, this woman gave her husband a trim that was so bad he was forced to go bald, and this five-year-old was left looking like an "old man" after begging his brother for a lockdown haircut.
