Dogs are kind of amazing, aren't they? Not only are they cute, fluffy, and all-round entertaining creatures to be around, but they are fiercely loyal to their adoptive families. Their joyous, loving demeanour and general excitement at being alive means that, let's be honest, they are a lot more fun to hang out with than a lot of humans out there.
I can just about understand someone preferring cats, or not particularly liking dogs if they haven't had the chance to actually spend time with one. After all, to some they can seem like excitable, drooling idiots that cause havoc and are incredibly expensive to look after. However, what remains a complete mystery to me is why someone would hate a dog, or for any reason try to attack one.
Unfortunately, there are some people out there who will do just that. One man was hanging out with some friends on the beach when he spotted a stray dog on the sand. Rather than just letting it be, he decided to run up and try and kick it.
However, his attempt didn't exactly go the way he expected it to. After his initial attempt to attack the dog failed, he found out that the dog had more than luck on his side. Take a look at what happened in this recently resurfaced video.

If there's one thing this man should have learned, it's that you should treat all creatures as you want to be treated yourself. Otherwise, you might end up on the receiving end of some bad karma.

A black man who had a puppy thrown at him during a racist rant by a white woman has revealed that he decided to adopt the dog and provide it with a loving home.
The alarming clip, which was posted to Instagram on Friday, (October 9), shows the unidentified woman arguing with the man (who is filming the interaction) on a street in California. All the while, the woman is holding a young Belgian Malinois puppy.
Throughout the interaction, it is unclear why the two strangers are arguing and who started the confrontation.
However, at one point the woman abruptly says to the man, "You're black," to which the man asks, "What’d you just say?"
"I said you’re black," she replies.
"So what?" the man, who goes by the handle @mulaflare on Instagram, retorts.
"Exactly," she replies before spitting on the street.
"So what if I’m f***ing black. What’s up?" the man asks.
"So what if I’m f***ing white," the woman responds while walking toward him in an unsettling manner.
"I didn’t say nothing about race, you racist b***h!" he says. "You’re the one bringing up f***ing race."
She then changes the subject, saying, "And what if you're from California and I'm not?" The man insists he is not from California, which prompts the woman to keep asking him where he is from.
"What's wrong with you?" he asks.
Moments later, the woman says she does not have an "identity".
"Does it look like I have an identity?" she says before appearing to kick the man.
The man then asks the woman if the dog she is carrying is hers. This prompts her to suddenly throw the unsuspecting canine at him.
"What the f***!" the man exclaims. The young dog can be heard yelping in distress. The man comforts and pets the dog before turning his attention back to the woman.
"Get the f*** out of here, you dumb b***h!" he says. "Whoa, back up, this is not your f***king dog. This is not your dog no more. I got a video of everything. Yeah, get the f*** out of here. You’re going to jail, b***h."
Per The Independent, in the man's most recent post, uploaded on Sunday, (October 11), the man can be seen cradling and playing with the pup - who he has named Movie.

Naturally, people were overjoyed to hear that Movie had been given a caring home, and this was the happy ending (or beautiful beginning) that people were desperate to see:
In addition, Movie's new owner has also set up an Instagram account for the puppy, which has already amassed over 223,000 followers.

The video he uploaded of the woman throwing the pup at him has been viewed nearly 3 million times at the time of writing.

After sharing a tongue-in-cheek video of her boyfriend playing with her pet dog, one woman has been inundated with comments calling for her to dump him.
Taking to TikTok to share the video, user @bricksmom captioned the post: "Cameras are a woman's best friend."
She then provided some context behind the footage, writing: "Saw my bf was out playing with my dog today so I checked the cameras to see how it went..."
The short clip shows the dog waiting in the background, as the boyfriend throws one of its toys onto a garden chair.

The camera then picks up the boyfriend calling the dog a "d**k".
And the boyfriend's light-hearted dig at the canine certainly proved popular on the social media platform, with the video amassing over 3.7 million views in less than one week.
However, not everybody was impressed with the man's behavior towards man's best friend, as many commenters are now urging the pet owner to ditch her fella over the "red flag".
"Dump him. Can only imagine what else he has done or said to your poor dog," one person commented.
Another added: "He's gotta go your bf has shown you the red flag".
Another Tiktoker added: "Leave him he can't treat your baby right".
However, other people were quick to shut down these comments, with many dog owners pointing out that it is common to bad-mouth a misbehaving pup.
One person confirmed: "HUH do people not normally call animals names under their breath like this?? I do this all the time as a joke??"
Another added: "The people telling you to break up with him.... literal children".
Which was echoed by another TikToker, who commented: "y'all haven't owned a dog and it shows lmao".
But just to put people's minds at ease, @bricksmom shared an update in a second video, which she captioned: "Part 2.. they’re literally BFFs. sorry to disappoint."

In the video, she shows plenty of lovely pictures of her boyfriend and dog getting on like best buddies (and not cussing each other out).
She also sarcastically tells anybody that thinks she should leave him that she think's they're "going to be fine".
As a dog owner for most of my life - I can confirm that, just like humans, they can behave like "d**ks".
For example, here are three seemingly-innocent looking dogs proving they're actually criminal masterminds:

A woman was urged to leave her boyfriend after she shared footage on TikTok of him playing with her dog.
The woman - who goes by the TikTok handle @bricksmom - decided to upload what she thought was a cheeky video of her boyfriend playing with her pet dog, who was waiting in the background for its rope chew toy.
The woman's boyfriend, however, threw the toy on one of the deck chairs on the couple's patio, before calling the pet pooch a "d**k."
The text overlay on the short clip read: "Saw my bf was out playing with my dog today so I checked the cameras to see how it went..."
Check out the post below:So far, the video has received close to 280,000 likes and thousands more comments.
Now, any dog owner out there will probably happily admit that they see their pooch as a member of the family... meaning it's only expected that the dog gets called a "d**k" from time to time. (Honestly, I've done it._
Although, after amassing more than 4 million views, not every TikToker saw the funny side of the video. In fact, many users took to the comments section to urge the woman to dump her man, who some people accused of mistreating the dog.
"Ha, no, if he ain't treat my dogs like his babies THEN HE GOTTA GO," one person wrote.
Another added that the woman's boyfriend was exhibiting some major red flags, writing: "Tell us about the time ur boyfriend showed you a red flag?"
"girl RUN [red flag emojis] see the warning signs. Dogs always know first bb. just saying protect yourself my love [sic]," someone else chimed in.
"Dump him. can only imagine what else he has done or said to your poor dog," another comment read.
Other users, however, appeared to stick up for the dog dad, speculating that maybe the dog had wanted to play fetch but then hadn't run for the toy when it was thrown.
"[I'm] pretty sure he wanted to play with the dog but the dog wouldnt come for the toy. and its a joke yall mad for what? [sic]," one user wrote in defense.
Soon after the original clip went viral, @bricksmom uploaded another video showing a "Part 2." That clip shows footage from the same day of the pair playfully engaging with the sweet pooch, with the text overlay on the video reading: "For everyone saying I should leave my bf for calling my dog a d**k."
You see, they're the best of friends really!
And, as any dog owner can probably attest to - sometimes our four-legged friends can be total d***s.

If there's one subject that's sure to enrage internet users, it's animal cruelty. People on social media are usually disgusted by even the suggestion that an animal has been hurt or left in pain, and so circulating footage of actual abuse is like dropping a lit match in a fireworks factory: a bad idea. If you want proof of this axiom, then look no further than the following example below. This week, social media users have had their collective hearts broken by a distressing clip of a dog which was abandoned by its owners, and who can be seen desperately trying to get back into their car.
The upsetting video was first uploaded by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals charity, who had discovered the footage from a CCTV camera from the town of Stoke-on-Trent in England, on the corner of Timor Grove and Pacific Road in Stoke. The incident took place at approximately 5 pm on Monday 17 December, and the video shows a Staffordshire bull terrier dog named Snoop being left behind by two people.

Commenting on the heartbreaking clip, RSPCA Inspector Natalie Perehovsky stated: "The footage has to be seen to be believed, it's just awful. To see the poor dog in such obvious distress jumping up at the car as it drives away it just heart-breaking. I can't understand how someone could do this. The vets scanned his microchip and we have traced two previous owners in the Birmingham area, but do not believe either are the current owners, and therefore not those responsible for abandoning the dog."
She added "One man can be seen clearly in the footage dumping the dog, and there is a second person in the driver seat of the car. I am very keen to hear from anyone who recognises the vehicle, the man or the dog. The veterinary staff have nicknamed the dog Snoop, and he is in good condition, thought to be two years old."
"He is a white Staffie with black marking, and is such a friendly, lovely boy. He's currently being cared for at a private boarding kennel where he will get all the care he needs whilst I investigate further. It's beggars belief that someone could abandon a dog like this at Christmas, but we are so thankful to the kind people who found Snoop sitting sadly in his bed, for taking him to the safety of vets straight away."

Thankfully, a helpful bystander discovered Scoop in his dog bed an hour after he'd been left behind, and brought him to a vet, who phoned RSPCA for help. The charity has now launched an investigation into the case, and are determined to find the dog's owner. If you or anyone else you know has any information to provide, then please contact the RSPCA on 0300 1234 999. Remember: a pet is for life, not just for Christmas.
