Tammy Slaton, one of the stars of TLC's 1000-lb Sisters, has shown off her new look, and let's just say that fans are speechless.
The 37-year-old reality TV star has been battling serious health concerns for years now including a bad gall bladder, high blood pressure, and thyroid problem, but things took a turn for the worst in 2022 when she suffered with a blood clot in her lung in April 2022.
Not only that but during the fourth season of the show, fans were given an insight into just how bad Tammy's health had deteriorated following a sudden breathing difficulty that saw her being rushed to the hospital.
We then see Tammy getting a tracheotomy - which is a surgical procedure that creates a hole in the throat to insert a breathing tube - in order to support her.
Check out this iconic scene from 1000-lb Sisters:Speaking to her doctor later on in the season, the reality TV star asks if she can get approval for her bariatric surgery, to which Dr. Eric Smith replies: "I told you Tammy, you have real risks," before her brother Chris chimes in saying: "If she doesn't get the surgery, she's gonna die because of her weight."
Tammy's family has no choice but to watch on as she continued her health battles, fearing that "she's gonna end up dead."
While things may have seen pecuruious at the time, we now know that the star underwent her weight loss surgery and has managed to reach some sort of stability with her health.
Though she still uses the tube to aid her breathing, she has been showing off her dramatic new look post surgery.
Taking to Instagram under the handle @queentammy86, the 37-year-old has been uploading selfies for her fans to see.
The most recent is a carousel of ten photos showcasing a bunch of differet looks including a pastel yellow number, a turqoise one and a simple black ensemble.

"Beautiful! You look amazing Tammy," wrote one user. "You should be proud of yourself, your fans sure are! Keep doing YOU!"
"Looking healthy [Tammy]," wrote another.
"LOOKING AMAZING TAMMY WE LOVE YOU," a third added.
And the comments didn't stop there.
Another Imstagrammer urged the star to keep listening to those "who care and respect you" adding: "...These other people mocking you have issues themselves and ranting on you. Please ignore them and remember all the love from the ones who care."
Other fans also joined in on the conversation, hyping Tammy up to feel even more confident about her wieght loss journey.
