Adam Sandler left viewers distracted during his recent appearance on Good Morning America after he was seen sporting a noticeable black eye.
The 55-year-old Uncut Gems star appeared on the morning show to discuss his new film, Hustle, when he explained to the hosts why he had a bruise on his left eye.
Throwing his hands up to the situation, Sandler said, "This is something I have to discuss right?"
He then explained how he got the mark, saying: "I was in bed, middle of the night, you know how they tuck in your sheets, somebody tucked in the sheets too much."

With giggles erupting throughout the room, Sandler added: “I refused to acknowledge it. I felt blood. I said something's going on but I got to sleep."
GMA's co-anchor George Stephanopoulos then cut in and told Sandler: "That is the most elaborate black eye story I ever heard," to which the actor jokily replied: "There's nothing cool about this."
He continued: "It looks so cool. When I'm on the streets of New York, I see people going oh ok. He likes to fight, that guy. And I'm like, it was a bed accident."
According to Page Six, this is not the first time Sandler has made a TV appearance with a shiner.
In 2014, he appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon with 47-year-old Drew Barrymore, and joked it was her fault that he had a black eye.
The Grown Ups star said Barrymore - who was pregnant at the time - was not feeling "great" backstage and so he said he would "take a look".
Then the comedian joked that it was Barrymore’s unborn baby that hit him in the eye. "That’s sick," the Charlie's Angels star responded as the audience laughed at Sandler's ridiculous story.
And back in 2015, per The Wrap, Sandler appeared on Jimmy Kimmel’s special NBA Finals Game Night show and once again had a visible bruise under his eye.
The Just Go With It star said he got the mark from a pickup game of basketball he decided to play instead of getting his tires changed.
"Some guy didn’t call a pick and smashed my head, my head blows and then I couldn’t lie about it," he said. "I came home with a black eye and had to tell the truth — then paid a guy to change the tire."
Sandler's latest project Hustle is a basketball-focused movie directed by Jeremiah Zagar and produced by Basketball player Lebron James.
The movie features stars Queen Latifah, Ben Foster, Robert Duvall, Juancho Hernangomez, and Anthony Edwards.
Hustle was released in theaters on June 3 and will be available to stream on Netflix from June 8.
