Adult star Brandi Love has recently announced that she will be having her face detached during an upcoming surgery.
It's no secret that as you get older, your body starts to change. Those fine lines? They're much deeper now. Those stretch marks? They're much more prominent. And your skin really does start sagging in areas you don't necessarily want it to.
While a lot of us just accept the impact time has on our bodies, those who have a career where their appearance is an important part of the gig are left looking for other alternatives to keeping young and fresh-faced.
And Brandi Love is no different.

The adult entertainment star - real name Tracey Lynn Livermore - recently admitted that the pressures of the industry have led her to consider getting facial cosmetic surgery. However, this story sounds more like the classic Nicolas Cage/John Travolta movie from the 90s.
The discovery was made when fellow industry star Kendra Lust tweeted the 50-year-old to say that she would love to shoot some content with her, to which Livermore replied: "Ditto!"
But there was a slight stipulation to the offer, with Livermore stating that Lust would have to wait until she had undergone surgery.
"It’s an elective surgery I’ve had to put off for 2 years because of COVID," she said.
Of course, fans were quick to jump on the comment with one person questioning: "Elective surgery meaning?"
She responded back saying: "I’m having my face detached, the muscles shortened and then reattached."
Obviously, this raised a few more follow-up questions.
One Twitter user asked: "Ummm, why would you do that to a national treasure?" And another fan questioned: "That actually what they do?"
According to the Jama Network, who delved into the details of this procedure, an elective surgery is also known medically as Rhytidectomy.
"Rhytidectomy literally means wrinkle (rhytid-) removal (-ectomy). The targeted area includes the cheek, midface, jawline, and neck areas," doctors Akshay Sanan, MD and Sam P. Most, MD wrote. "In the rhytidectomy procedure (also known as a “face-lift”), the tissues under the skin are tightened and excess facial and neck skin are excised."
Though the name may be slightly misleading, as the procedure doesn't actually remove wrinkles directly, it does help the harshness of them.

Livermore also said she would document the process on her account on OnlyFans stating: "Those of us who live our lives in front of the camera, mainstream or adult ALL do various 'things' to battle time.
"This procedure is invasive BUT it yields natural results because it doesn’t add or exaggerate anything. It just takes out the 'slack.'"
Well, let's hope it all goes well for her!
