Andrew Tate - the British-American influencer best known for his misogynistic content - has reportedly had 11 of his 33 luxury cars seized by police following his arrest in Romania on December 29.

The 36-year-old was arrested in relation to human trafficking and rape charges, as well as allegations of exploiting women to create pornography.

Per Reuters, Tate and his brother Tristan were arrested and subsequently detained for their involvement in forming an organized crime group. Prosecutors revealed that the brothers had been under investigation since April 2022.

"The four suspects ... appear to have created an organized crime group with the purpose of recruiting, housing, and exploiting women by forcing them to create pornographic content meant to be seen on specialized websites for a cost. They would have gained important sums of money," they stated.

Tate had been savagely trolled just days before his arrest for his cringe-worthy attack on Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg.

"Hello [Greta Thunberg]," he wrote. "I have 33 cars. My Bugatti has a w16 8.0L quad-turbo. My TWO Ferrari 812 competizione have 6.5L v12s. This is just the start. Please provide your email address so I can send a complete list of my car collection and their respective enormous emissions."

In response, the 20-year-old simply wrote: "yes, please do enlighten me. email me at smalld**[email protected]," in one of the most savage takedowns on the internet.

Now, it appears Romanian police have seized a third of Tate's extensive car collection, the very collection he had originally teased Thunberg with on Twitter. Insider was able to confirm that the seizure of the cars was necessary to "sustain the cost of the investigation," as well as to act as collateral to fund payments awarded to Tate's alleged victims.

Romanian news outlet Gândul published images of the cars that were allegedly seized. These included a Rolls-Royce Wraith from the carmaker's Black Badge range and an Aston Martin Vanquish S Ultimate which, Insider details, would have cost around $300,000.

Tate - a former professional boxer - has gained notoriety online for flaunting his wealth and making sexist statements, including that women should "bear responsibility" for being raped.

Romania's DIICOT (Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism) published a statement shortly after Tate's arrest that revealed six women in the suspected trafficking scheme were allegedly forced to make porn for his online business, and at least one of them was allegedly raped.
