Angie Harmon has accused a delivery driver of fatally shooting her family’s dog.
According to the 51-year-old actress, best known for her role in Law & Order, the incident occurred on the south side of Charlotte on Saturday (March 30).
She posted on her Instagram that a male delivery driver came to her house to deliver groceries, writing: "He got out of his car, delivered the food & THEN shot our dog."
Harmon claimed that the man, who apparently worked for Instacart, had spotted that her Ring doorbell camera was inside charging before allegedly committing the heartless act.

She also stated that he was "shopping under a woman’s identity named Merle," and shared a screenshot of the delivery confirmation which featured a photo of a woman.
"He shot our dog with my daughters & myself at home & just kept saying, 'yeah, I shot your dog. Yeah I did,'" she continued. "We are completely traumatized & beyond devastated at the loss of our beloved boy & family member."

"Upon arrival, officers located and spoke to all involved parties," the spokesperson said. "The investigation revealed that a delivery driver arrived at the residence to deliver consumable goods.
"The driver told officers that a dog attacked him while he was at the residence and that he defended himself by firing a single gunshot, striking and mortally wounding the dog. Another dog was present at the residence but did not attack," they added.
Instacart has suspended the delivery driver's profile and is working with authorities to investigate. In a statement obtained by Fox News, they wrote: "We were deeply saddened and disturbed to hear about this incident.
"We have no tolerance for violence of any kind, and the shopper account was immediately suspended from our platform. We have been in direct contact with the customer and are cooperating with law enforcement on their investigation," they added.
