Beyonce’s mother Tina Knowles-Lawson was reportedly a victim of a burglary at her home in Los Angeles, according to law enforcement.
The 69-year-old parent of the 'Crazy in Love' hitmaker allegedly had over $1 million worth of possessions stolen at her California-based estate, as reported by TMZ.
It was alleged that the theft was discovered on Wednesday (July 5) morning after someone from Tina's team saw a safe was missing while visiting the house.
The mother-of-two was apparently out of town during the incident and no further information of how the break-in occurred has been released by police.
Authorities reportedly informed the outlet that a safe containing cash and jewelry was stolen and that they are searching for security footage of the break-in.
They also spoke with people living next door to Tina - who was Destiny Child's fashion designer - to see if they had witnessed anything suspicious.
This apparently follows another incident reported by TMZ, in which cops arrested a man outside her home back in April after he allegedly caused harm to her mailbox by throwing rocks.
Per the publication, police officers claimed that the suspect was behaving erratically and was placed on a 5150 psych hold - which is when an adult who is experiencing a mental health crisis is involuntarily detained for a 72-hour psychiatric hospitalization.
Tina shares daughters Beyonce and Solange Knowles with her ex-husband Mathew Knowles, 71. The former couple officially split back in 2011. Following the divorce, the businesswoman tied the knot with the 76-year-old actor Richard Lawson - with whom she shares her LA mansion - in 2015.
