Britney Spears has slammed her younger sister as the singer said she won't perform again until she's free from her dad's control.

The 'Toxic' hitmaker, 39, slammed sister Jamie Lynn, 30, for performing her songs when at events when she herself was unable to attend because she was struggling, per The Mirror.

Taking to Instagram, Britney has dubbed Jamie-Lynn as a "mean a**."

She wrote the savage comment alongside a video of herself smiling and dancing in a red top that was captioned: "May the Lord wrap your mean a** up in joy today."

This video is a clear retort to Jamie-Lynn's Instagram post where she begged God to end the "bulls***" after Britney was allowed to chose her own lawyer for the first time since 2008.

"May the peace of the Lord be with you, and your spirit," the Zoey 101 actress said on Instagram.

Jamie Lynn also wrote in another Instagram story: "Dear Lord, can we end this bulls**t once and for all? Amen."

Britney is currently battling to have her dad Jamie removed from the conservatorship that's controlled her life since 2008, as she recently accused him of extensive abuse.

As well as slamming her sister, Britney vowed on Instagram that she will not perform again until she is free from her dad's control.

"I'm not gonna be performing on any stages anytime soon with my dad handling what I wear, say, do, or think," she wrote.

She went on: "I've done that for the past 13 years.

"And no I'm not gonna put on heavy makeup and try try try on stage again and not be able to do the real deal with remixes of my songs for years and begging to put my new music in my show for MY fans . . .  so I quit! [sic]"

Britney recently opened up about her family, including her sister, as she detailed the alleged suffering she's been put through as a result of the conservatorship.

Alongside the quote, "Never forget who ignored you when you needed them and who helped you before you even had to ask", Britney explains how the people she needed most didn't show up for her when she was suffering.

She wrote: "There's nothing worse than when the people closest to you who never showed up for you post things in regard to your situation whatever it may be and speak righteously for support… there's nothing worse than that!"

She went on: "How dare the people you love the most say anything at all … did they even put a hand out to even lift me up at the TIME!!!???

"How dare you make it public that NOW you CARE … did you put your hand out when I was drowning? Again … NO."

She continued: "So, if you're reading this and you know who you are … and you actually have the nerve to say anything about my situation just to save face for yourself publicly!!! [sic]"
