Bruce Willis and Demi Moore may have been divorced for 23 years, but his wife Emma Heming Willis still ships the former power couple.

The 68-year-old Die Hard actor has had a devastating past year, following his shock diagnosis with aphasia in 2022. In February, his wife Heming Willis took to social media to announce that Willis had sadly now been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia.

In a lengthy statement, the 44-year-old - who shares two young daughters, Evelyn and Mabel, with the actor - stated that she and the family were relieved to have a clear diagnosis despite the heartbreak that came with it.

"Since we announced Bruce's diagnosis of aphasia in spring 2022, Bruce's condition has progressed and we now have a more specific diagnosis: frontotemporal dementia (known as FTD). Unfortunately, challenges with communication are just one symptom of the disease Bruce faces. While this is painful, it is a relief to finally have a clear diagnosis," Heming Willis wrote.

She continued: "Bruce always believed in using his voice in the world to help others, and to raise awareness about important issues both publicly and privately."

Though, through the hard times Heming Willis evidently knows how to see the light. Taking to her Instagram Story, she reposted a black and white image of Willis and Moore, 60. The text overlay Heming Willis added on the post read: "Yeah. Me too. I liked them together as well." The pair were married from 1987-2000 and share three daughters together - Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah.

Normally, this could be construed as a little odd, however Heming Willis, Moore, and Willis have proven time and time again that they've got a fantastic relationship and blended family. In fact, the trio (plus Willis' five daughters) spent Christmas together last year.

Per The Daily Mail, the blended family spent a festive day together in Idaho, with a source telling the outlet: "Bruce can't say much, and it doesn't seem like he's grasping much of what others say. So Emma's really been the voice and communicator for him. There are days when they see glimpses of the old Bruce, but they are brief and far between."

They added: "It seems he's slipping further away from them and it breaks their heart. The girls can't imagine Christmas without Bruce. The older girls miss the old Bruce - the one who used to tease them about their boyfriends and give them unsolicited advice [...] all they can do is tell them they love him and pray for a holiday miracle."

While Willis' condition is sadly slowly deteriorating, it's heartwarming to know that the beloved actor is surrounded by such a loving family.
