Cardi B has jumped to the defense of Will Smith after the allegations emerged that he slept with a male co-star.

The 55-year-old Fresh Prince of Bel-Air star made headlines this week after his former assistant, Brother Bilaal, made the claims about him on gossip blogger Tasha K's YouTube show, Unwine With Tasha K.

Bilaal alleged during the interview that he witnessed Smith having an intimate relationship with fellow actor Duane Martin, who also appeared on the hit 90s sitcom in 1993 and 1995.

"I opened the door to Duane’s dressing room and that’s when I see Duane having sex with Will," he alleged in the interview that has since gone viral on X, formerly known as Twitter.

The Men in Black actor quickly fired back at the accusations, with his representative telling TMZ: "This story is completely fabricated and the claim is unequivocally false."

A source told the outlet that Smith is also considering legal action following Bilaal's remarks.

Smith's estranged wife Jada Pinkett Smith - who recently revealed that she and her husband had been secretly separated for seven years - also responded to the accusations.

She seemingly told the same outlet: "We're suing," when asked by the outlet for a response on the matter.

Now, Cardi B has chimed in on the controversy surrounding Smith and Martin, and defended the Academy Award winner as she called out Tasha K for making false statements about the father-of-three.

In an Instagram Live, the Bodak Yellow hitmaker said: "I don’t like what people be doing to Will Smith. I be feeling like Will Smith is very unproblematic, and I feel like he [has] a nice heart.

"And that’s the thing, I found out that Will Smith is a Libra… Libras, we be getting tried, we be getting tried, and then when we outburst, we outburst so f***ing heavy that we become the ones in the wrong," Cardi - whose full name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar Cephus - stated.

"When we throw that outburst after we care so much, we go so crazy that people be like 'oh my god, what the f***, this b***h is f*****g crazy!" for real,'" the mom-of-two continued. "And I feel like y'all doing that to Will Smith and I feel like some people never f*****g change. I'm so tired of people picking on that man."

The 'WAP' hitmaker laid into the 41-year-old interviewer - who owes her $3 million in damages after Tasha made false statements about the rapper on her YouTube channel.

"Someone can put something so salacious out and not think how this is going to affect someone's mental health," Cardi said.

Jada Pinkett Smith spoke more about taking legal action during an appearance on The Breakfast Club radio show on Wednesday (November 15), where she described the claims as inaccurate and "ridiculous".

"It's ridiculous, right? And it's nonsense," she said. "This is a person who tried to a shakedown, a money shakedown that didn't work.

"We're going to take legal action. Because it's one thing to have your opinion about somebody versus just making up salacious, malicious stories. So that's actionable, so we're going to roll with that," the actress added.
