Chrissy Teigen broke her month-long social media silence on Monday to apologise for bullying a number of celebrities online — including Courteney Stodden.

In a blog post, published on Medium, the model said she was privately reaching out to people that she had hurt in the past. "There is simply no excuse for my past horrible tweets," she wrote, adding that she had been reflecting on "the crushing weight of regret for the things I've said in the past.

"I was a troll, full stop. And I am so sorry."

The backlash against Teigen began after Stodden — who was famously married to Doug Hutchison — accused her of online bullying. In 2011, a 25-year-old Teigen sent Twitter messages to Stodden, then 16, telling them to take their own life and "take a dirt nap."

However, Stodden is far from the first public figure that the cookbook author has taken aim at. From Mariah Carey to Avril Lavigne, here are seven celebs that Teigen has trolled online...

1. Quvenzhané Wallis

Child star, Quvenzhané Wallis, was just nine-years-old when she was nominated for an Oscar for her performance in Beasts of the Southern Wild. She is the youngest Best Actress nominee in the Academy Awards' history.

When Wallis attended the awards ceremony back in 2013, people couldn't help but comment on how sweet she looked. Teigen, however, did not seem to share the same view. Writing on the social media platform, the author sayid she felt like she was being "forced to like" the actress and branded her as "cocky".

"Is it okay to call a small child cocky? I am forced to like Quvenzhané Wallis because she’s a child right? Okay fine," she wrote in a since-deleted tweet.

Teigen did not publicly apologise to Wallis.

2. Lindsay Lohan

Teigen has repeatedly poked fun at Lohan's mental health struggles and addiction issues.

Per Yahoo, in 2011, she tweeted, "I cannot wait to show up in court with john to fight this sh**," in reference to Lohan.

Mocking her sartorial choices, she added: "@lindsaylohan what should I wear, you're the expert. Help."

Finally, in January of the same year, she wrote, "Lindsay adds a few more slits to her wrists when she sees Emma Stone."

While Lohan has not commented on Teigen's hurtful comments, her mother Dina told The Post on June 12th: "When someone says hurtful words, they’re not just hurting that person, they’re hurting their siblings, their mother, their grandma. They’re inflicting so much pain."

3. Mariah Carey

Back in 2010, when the hitmaker announced that she was pregnant with twins Monroe and Moroccan, Teigen spoke about Carey's weight.

"Why is anyone surprised Mariah is having twins?" she tweeted at the time, per The Mirror. "I was always pretty positive there were 2-15 babies growing inside of her."

Neither Carey nor Teigen have addressed the jibe.

4. Avril Lavigne

In 2011, the model took aim at Sk8er Boi singer Avril Lavigne, saying that she would rather have a "barren, sterile existence" than have children who were like Lavigne.

"If u told me I could have 1 kid, but it would be exactly like avril, I would choose to have a barren, sterile existence that ends when I die [sic]," she tweeted, according to The Mirror.

In another tweet, which has since been deleted, she added: "Watching an avril lavigne interview. The second most painful thing I have watched today after 'the goods' [sic]."

5. Tamera Mowry

Sister Sister star, Tamera Mowry, took to Twitter to announce her pregnancy in 2015. Rather than congratulating the star, Teigen criticised her choice to do a sponsored post collaboration with pregnancy test company, Clearblue.

"How much money does Clearblue pay celebs to Instagram their p**s sticks this seems lucrative," Teigen tweeted.

When Mowry's fans clapped back at Teigen's perceived slight, she countered: "Why so hurt? A lot of people have done it, you just don't notice it because you're roooooobots. What's it like to always want to be offended is it fun should I take it up? [sic]"

6. Farrah Abraham

Teen Mom star, Farrah Abraham, was on the receiving end of Teigen's abuse after she was seen buying a pregnancy test in paparazzi photos back in 2013. At the time, the reality TV star had just filmed a sex tape with porn star, James Deen.

"Farrah Abraham now thinks she is pregnant from her sex tape," the mother-of-two wrote on Twitter. "In other news you're a wh**e and everyone hates you whoops not other news sorry [sic]."

When she was criticised for slut-shaming, she simply replied: "Are we really gonna pretend this girl just accidentally leaked a sex tape? seriously?? what the f*** is wrong with you?"

Speaking about the incident, and Teigen's apology, Abraham said: "As you're asking yourself 'Did Chrissy ever apologize to Farrah,' hypocritically as such at this time no she has not. As a reminder Chrissy ended her light-hearted post, so similarly as her past remarks with taking care of her family and herself. So I understand the time it will take to really be beyond her past behavior."

7. Michael Costello

Designer, Michael Costello, says that he was severely harassed online after Teigen left a comment on his Instagram page back in 2014, accusing him of racism after seeing what he claims was a fake racist comment Photoshopped by a "former disgruntled employee".

Costello took to social media on Monday after Teigen posted her second apology to say that Teigen's actions have left him still "traumatised, depressed" and with "thoughts of suicide".

"I didn’t want to do this, but I can not be happy until I speak my mind. I need to heal and in order for me to do that I must reveal what I’ve been going through," he wrote on Instagram. "I wanted to kill myself and I still am traumatized, depressed, and have thoughts of suicide.

"When I reached out to Chrissy Teigen to communicate that I was the victim of a vindictive cyber slander, and that everything she thought I was is not who I am, she told me that my career was over and that all my doors will be shut from there on. And wow, did she live up to her words."

The Project Runway contestant added that Teigen had reportedly "gone out of her way to threaten people and brands that, if they were in any shape or form associated with me, they would not work with any of them."
