Amber Heard has given fans a rare glimpse into her life in Spain after sharing photos from a 10K race she completed in Madrid.
The 40-year-old actress, who relocated from the United States in 2022, has largely stayed out of the spotlight in recent years.
On Sunday (June 21), Heard took to Instagram to share a photo of herself smiling after completing the KLM Norte Sur race.
In the image, the Aquaman actress can be seen posing in a pink sports bra and matching jogging shorts following the event.
"First race glow," she captioned the post.
The actress also uploaded two additional photos to her Instagram Stories.
One showed Heard smiling into the camera in a race-day selfie, while another captured a sweet moment with her eldest daughter, Oonagh, after crossing the finish line.
Heard, who is also mother to 12-month-old twins Agnes and Ocean, could be seen cradling her five-year-old daughter in the image.
"Nothing beats this feeling," she penned in pink lettering across the photo.
Since moving to Spain, the Rum Diary star has been frequently spotted jogging around the capital city and has embraced a more private lifestyle away from Hollywood.
The actress has previously opened up about her love of running, sharing in 2018: "I like running because it's a way for me to alleviate stress, clear my mind, and refocus.
"Plus I can do it anywhere. I travel so much that it's invaluable to me to have something that keeps me healthy and feeling good no matter where I am," she added.
Heard has also been open about taking a balanced approach to fitness rather than chasing unrealistic goals.
"If you're not going to enjoy life, there's no point in eating a certain way and working out and doing all the things actors do to manipulate how we look - and how the world looks at us," she explained. "When I'm not preparing for a movie, I have more freedom, and I incorporate my workout into my life, so that I enjoy it and it doesn't feel like an obligation."
The Drive Angry star has stayed largely off the radar since the conclusion of her explosive defamation trial with Johnny Depp, which played out in the public eye over several years.
The former couple’s highly publicized legal battle began in 2019, after Heard published a 2018 op-ed in The Washington Post in which she claimed to be a survivor of domestic abuse.
Although the 63-year-old was not named in the article, he later filed a defamation lawsuit, arguing the piece falsely implied that he had "perpetrated domestic violence against her" - claims he described as "categorically and demonstrably false," according to The Independent.
Heard then countersued for $100 million, further intensifying the media frenzy surrounding the trial.
In 2022, a jury awarded the Pirates of the Caribbean star $10.35 million in damages after ruling in favor of his claim, while Heard received $2 million after winning one of her three counterclaims.
