Anna Nicole Smith's teenage daughter made an appearance at Saturday's Kentucky Derby - and fans cannot get over how much she looks like her famous mom.
Fifteen-year-old Dannielynn Birkhead - the only child of Smith and Larry Birkhead - made an appearance alongside her father at yesterday's world-famous derby.
Dannielynn was famously thrust into the public eye following the death of her mom back in 2007, with her dad Larry having to prove that he was indeed her father via a DNA test amid a high-profile paternity case.
Now all grown up, Larry posed for some photos with his daughter, and couldn't help but point out her resemblance to her late mom.
Sharing a snap of the two on their shared Instagram page, Larry wrote to their 80,000 followers: "Betting on a great time with Dannielynn today at this year’s @kentuckyderby, then off to the @janetjackson concert! Saw this pic of Anna and thought Dannielynn looked like her twin!"
And fans couldn't help but agree, with one person commenting: "Just like her mom. Amazing."
"She is so beautiful just like her momma!! She is definitely her twin!! Can’t believe how grown up she is now," a second added.
"She’s so beautiful and such a lady!! Definitely her momma’s twin! She would be so proud! My heart is melting seeing how beautiful she is growing up," wrote a third.
And a fourth agreed, typing: "She looks just like her mom! Beautiful!"
Dannielynn also took the opportunity to pay tribute to the sensational Janet Jackson during the Barnstable Brown Gala.
Larry revealed on Instagram that he had purchased the exact pantsuit Jackson had worn to the 2003 event as part of a charity auction.
Much to everybody's delight, Dannielynn wore the outfit to Saturday's event and was fortunate enough to get a photo alongside Jackson.
"What a night! Dannielynn got to meet @janetjackson at the Barnstable-Brown Gala, while wearing Janet’s outfit that she wore to the same party in 2003," Larry explained on Instagram. "Janet was so gracious and complimentary of Dannielynn in her outfit.
"She made Dannielynn so happy and even graciously posed for a photo with us."
In February of 2007, Anna Nicole Smith died of a drug overdose in the Bahamas when her daughter was just five months old.
A highly publicized paternity case ensued, in which several men - including Birkhead, Smith's attorney Howard K. Stern, and one of Smith's former bodyguards - all claimed to be Dannielynn's biological father.
After DNA tests confirmed that Birkhead was Dannielynn's dad, he took his daughter and raised her in Kentucky.
Earlier this year, Larry shared a black and white photo of the former couple to mark fifteen years since the model's death.
"Still remembering this one 15 years after her death. She was truly one of a kind. She struggled for love and acceptance. Just when she found a little piece of one or the other, life seemed to sabotage," ex-entertainment photographer Birkhead wrote in the caption.
"Today, I remember your heart, your soul and your beauty, both inside and out," he added.
"Your love is alive still to this day, in the form of a truly one of a kind teenager with her Mom’s smile, beauty and courage," he added.
