Keanu Reeves has a reputation as one of the nicest guys working in Hollywood.

He's gracious to his fans and a pleasure to work with by all accounts. But that doesn't mean he isn't willing to roast someone from time to time either.

A video has re-emerged on social media this week showing Reeves giving a savage burn to an interviewer who asked him an awkward question.

Take a look at the interview in question in the video below:

The interview dates back to the Toronto Film Festival in 2013 and shows Reeves speaking with MTV journalist Josh Horowitz while discussing the movie John Wick and his past role in the Bill and Ted movies alongside Alex Winter.

However, Horowitz made the gaffe of asking if Reeves would find it hard to ever play the character of Bill again when Reeves played Ted in the comedy franchise.

Without missing a beat, Reeves pointed out the interviewer's mistake and added: "You just lost all of your cred, dude. That's right. That’s what you should do right now," as Horowitz stood up and walked off camera.

The clip was recently posted online by a Twitter user going by the handle @thetzechun, who captioned the footage: "Since John Wick is trending let's just remember Keanu Reeves murdered someone on live TV. Wait for it."

A number of other interviewers have since retweeted the footage and commented on Reeves' roasting of Horowitz.

Fans began discussing the clip online, as one person wrote: "The only way Keanu kills someone: softly."

Another then stated: "I like Josh Horowitz. This was bad. But if you're going to screw it up, screw it up in front of the one guy who'll kill you with the kindness of intentions."

While a third added: "It’s REALLY disconcerting to see Mr. Reeves be even a little bit mean or rude in real life as he’s by all accounts one of the kindest people on Earth."

However, another Twitter user then argued: "Keanu is such a genuine person, he can roll with it.

"So many celebrities would be genuinely pissed if someone doesn't know them or give them their "due" but Keanu is here truly living life. Love this guy."

Another fan chimed in: "When Keanu Reeves says 'You just lost all your cred, dude' he's right it's gone and forever. And Keanu didn't even have to raise his voice or aim a pencil at him."

Horowitz himself later took to the comments, writing: "I just find it funny that this clip comes up every year randomly and folks think it's the defining moment of my 15 years of doing this.

"I was the one who decided to run it because I thought it was funny. But all good! No one loves awkward moments more than me!"
