'Baywatch' star Brooks Nader speaks out after being pictured topless with her dad

Brooks Nader has spoken out after photos emerged of her sunbathing topless in front of her father, leaving fans divided.

The 29-year-old model and TV personality was pictured on holiday in Sardinia, Italy, over the summer with her mom, Holland, dad Breaux, and her sister, Sarah Jane.

In photos obtained by Page Six and Fox News, Brooks was seen removing her top and jumping into the water for a swim wearing just white lace shorts.

When she got back on the boat, she continued to walk around and speak to her family, wearing just her bottoms.

When the images were shared online by Deuxmoi, they left fans pretty divided, with some writing: "Call me uncultured, but swimming topless with my dad is one European tradition I’m comfortable skipping."

Others added: "Do we need to wake up as a society? This is beyond comprehension. Why would you go TOPLESS in front of your FATHER?!!!!!! I’m physically ill," and: "OMG going topless in front of your dad is just freaking weird."

One wrote: "As someone whose father is LITERALLY FROM Italy, he would NEVER be okay w/ seeing my t*ts out. Anyone saying otherwise is out of their effing minds. No way in hell this is normal even for Europeans. Idc!!"

Others defended the Sports Illustrated model, writing: "Let’s normalize women doing what they want w their chest. It’s only taboo bc we as a society make it that way so weird that we do that."

Another commented: "These comments are not it. yall act like feminists until a woman is just being a woman and suddenly it’s a problem."

Someone else added: "I’ve seen this 'with her family' line mentioned lot…. Get over it. They’re boobs. This is just not that weird. Leave her alone. And don’t force trauma on her family that isn’t there."

After causing a stir, Brooks has spoken out about the decision to free the nipple around her family.

In footage shared by Entertainment Tonight on Thursday, Brooks revealed: "I had the time of my freaking life. I don’t care if I’m not from Europe. I’m from Louisiana."

She added: "I grew up in an all-girl household. We’re always naked together as sisters,” referring to Sarah Jane, 24, and her sisters Grace Ann, 26, and Mary Holland, 27.

Brooks added that her father is not bothered by the nudity, explaining: "My dad’s half-blind, so he didn’t even notice. He was like, ‘I don’t care.’ He has selective hearing and selective seeing.

"I was just having the time of my life, and really not thinking that anyone was documenting some of it, but we love it. It’s great."

The family's close bond was shown during the first season of their Hulu reality show, Love Thy Nader.

Brooks also previously told The Daily Front Row in June 2024: "There’s not a second that goes by in the day that we’re not in constant communication. We all know too much about each other.”

"We joke that my dad is turning into a Nader sister. If you tell us something or do something with us, you should bet your bottom dollar that our dad knows.

"The other day we said we didn’t have time for a spray tan and my dad was like, ‘Why don’t you use St. Tropez?’

"The fact that my dad knows about St. Tropez self-tanner.… We need to get that guy on the golf course. He shouldn’t know about that."
