Bethenny Frankel has been heavily criticized for posting bikini photos of her 13-year-old daughter on social media.
On Thursday (December 28), the former Real Housewives of New York City star took to her Instagram to share a series of snaps of her holiday in Turks and Caicos with her teen daughter Bryn - whom she shares with her ex-husband Jason Hoppy.
"Two jerks in TURKS. After a hardworking year, mixed with some medical issues, this trip was an impulse decision and I think we made a good choice…" the 53-year-old captioned the post. "New Year’s resolutions incoming and being crafted as we speak… xoxo."
The pictures included the television personality's colorful one-piece swimsuit that she accessorized with a matching long skirt, snazzy Gucci sunglasses, and a straw fedora. Frankel also shared several snaps of Bryn donning a light-blue bikini and sunbathing on the white sandy beach.

One disappointed user wrote: "Swimsuit shots of your daughter are so inappropriate and exploitive." Another agreed, chiming in: "Not sure the picture of your young daughter is a great idea considering some of the people on social media."
A third commented: "After following you for a bit I have to say you move very very weird. It’s like you purposely exploit your daughter and post pictures of her that should be private. You KNOW you’re going to get comments about it."
A fourth said: "Too young. . Shouldn’t have post this pic of her daughter. She’s beautiful and well…. there’s too many creeps out there," while another claimed: "I feel like these pictures of her daughter are intentionally posted and it makes me sick. I noticed a lot of other people basically commented the same way."
However, many people came to the Skinnygirl founder’s defense, explaining that she did nothing wrong by posting the photos of her daughter on vacation with her.
"I think it's so funny that this has made world wide news. I mean seriously it's a mother / daughter beach shoot. For the love of God people need to back off and focus on their own families," one fan penned.
Someone else shared: "Some of these comments - Jesus Christ the pearl clutching. Bryn isn't 8 years old. She's a teenager. Bethenny knows what's best for her child. I can't believe I'm commenting on a strangers IG, but here we are."
An additional user noted: "She’s in swimwear at the beach and her mom took her picture. I don’t understand the outrage."
The negative comments clearly did not hold the former Apprentice contestant back as she continued to share more posts from her mother and daughter vacation with Bryn.
She captioned her recent post: "Sliding into 2024 with another slider. This was a makeup & attitude free #mommyandme trip, and we’re only down two acrylic nails…"
