Bonnie Blue must make a major legal move after revealing the name of her newborn child following a $1.6million auction.
The 27-year-old controversial adult star has claimed that gambling company BetBolt secured the winning bid in her baby-naming auction - beating a strange shortlist that included Top G, Group Project, and "looksmaxxing" influencer Clavicular.
Blue, whose real name is Tia Billinger, has revealed that she will now take the next step by heading to the Westminster Register Office in London on Wednesday (September 23) to formally register the name.
In her video announcement, she said: "My auction's finished, and for £1.2million ($1.6million) my baby is called BetBolt. I'm going to be shouting BetBolt across the playground."
Despite claiming the company paid $1.6 million for the naming rights, the adult star confessed that she does not actually know much about BetBolt or what the business does.
She said: "I still don't know what BetBolt do...I'm confused. Should I contact them? Should I say thank you? Are they going to be involved in my baby's life? Or are they just going to be because my baby is called BetBolt?
"Hopefully BetBolt reach out today, because I have an appointment tomorrow at Westminster Register Office to officially name my baby," she added.
BetBolt is an online gambling website and crypto casino platform.
The auction followed Blue's announcement several weeks ago that she had given birth via C-section.
In a video posted online, she said: "I’ve had a baby. I’m fine. I had a C-section and the baby’s super, super healthy. I’m going home later. It was painful but not as bad as I thought. However, when I was sick this morning, it genuinely felt like I had my stitches ripped open," she added.
Some people have continued to question whether the pregnancy and birth are real, especially given Blue's history of attention-grabbing stunts such as sleeping with 1,000 men before and during her pregnancy. However, she has maintained that her latest claims are true.
She also said she planned to capitalize financially on the huge public interest surrounding her becoming a mother.
Blue has since responded to people who accused her of going too far by auctioning off her child's name.
She said: "To those that say this is disgusting, or this is rage bait, wouldn't you for £1.2million ($1.6million) rename your kid? Because I know I would.
"But then again I still enjoy earning more money by opening my legs. If I hadn't opened them I wouldn't have been able to make this £1.2million ($1.6million)."
She also shared some of the other names that came close to securing the top spot.
"Group Project, that would've been fun, but I do think Social Services would have an issue with that. To be honest, out of all of them Top G would've been quite funny," she revealed.
In the end, Blue claims BetBolt's seven-figure offer was enough to win the auction.
She added: "Thanks BetBolt, I'm £1.2million ($1.6million) up, and I cannot wait to spend that money.
"Or maybe I was meant to spend that money on the kid. It's not going to be called the kid any more, it's going to be called BetBolt. And I've got to go, because I have got to feed BetBolt," she added.
