The nostalgia was real when former husband and wife Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston reunited on Zoom, to read a scene from Fast Times at Ridgemont High.
The pair have now been divorced for 15 years and looked incredibly chill in each other's company over Zoom. Which was lucky, because the scene they were reading together involves Linda Barrett, originally played by Phoebe Cates, walking in on Brad Hamilton (Judge Reinhold) imagining her topless.
Or, as narrator Morgan Freeman so neatly put it "Brad is jacking off."
You can watch the entire table read, which consists of classic scenes from the movie, right here:

The Fast Times at Ridgemont High table read saw stars from the original movie, including Sean Penn and Matthew McConaughey, team up with actors like Morgan Freeman, Julia Roberts, Shia LeBeouf, John Legend, Jimmy Kimmel, Ray Liotta, Henry Golding and Dane Cook to read scenes from the classic high school movie. The effort was in order to raise money for CORE Response.
Aniston and Pitt greeted each other personally at the start of the call.
"Hi Aniston", Brad Pitt said, as Friends star Jennifer Aniston responded, "Hi Pitt." Brad asked how Jennifer was doing and his ex-wife said, "Good honey, how are you doing?", he replied, "I’m alright."
The pair divorced in 2005 after five years of marriage but appear to be on good terms.
At one point Aniston delivered the line "Hi Brad, you know how cute I always thought you were. I think you're so sexy. Will you come to me?" Doubtless quickening the pulse of Pitt/Anniston shippers all over the world in the process.
And fans on Twitter were thrilled by the pair's reunion.
"This will definitely stop everyone obsessing over Brad and Jen reunions" one fan quipped.

"I’m grinning like an idiot watching Brad and Jen interact like this," another commenter wrote.

Another fan enthused "Everyone laughing between the Brad/Jen of it all and Morgan doing the stage directions with his "lord have mercy"... idk who organized this and cast Jen and Brad as Brad and Linda but I have to scream. I love it."

My personal highlight is Matthew McConaughey's constant nodding and grinning as the scene unfolds. In any case, per Metro the star-studded table read served to raise $50,000 for Core Response, to aid in their COVID relief efforts.
