Brendan Fraser praised over gesture to fan who struggled to take photo on red carpet

Brendan Fraser has once again shown why he's known as one of the nicest men in Hollywood, following a sweet interaction with a fan.

The 57-year-old star was on the red carpet for the London premiere of his latest film, Pressure, when a touching moment with a fan was caught on camera.

In the clip, which has racked up over 300,000 likes on Instagram, Brendan can be seen milling around on the red carpet before heading over to a fan that asked to have a photo with him.

After seeing the man struggling to take the photo, Brendan gently takes his phone and, without any rush, shows him exactly how to set it up to take the photo.

He then puts his arm around the fan and poses for a lovely selfie together, showing the man how the image came out before the pair share a warm smile together at the beautiful moment they'd captured.

Fans immediately flooded the comments, moved by the patience and kindness Brendan had shown the fan.

They wrote: "What I love most isn’t the kindness, it’s not even the respect shown by gifting knowledge… it’s the slow, calm, steady approach by Brendan to ensure this beautiful fan didn’t feel like a publicity stunt. Your a great human Brendan." (sic)

Others added: "The business did him wrong for so many years. It is great seeing him back and being the awesome person that he is," and: "Brendan Fraser receives the Dolly Parton award for being a decent celebrity."

Another commented: "To take the time not to just take the photo but to actually show and explain to the guy how to do it is just so heartwarming. The patience and kindness is elite behaviour. Thank you Brendan."

Someone else wrote: "The true definition of what it is to be a survivor and a man. The way we behave around others says everything about who we are."

In Pressure, Brendan plays General Dwight D. Eisenhower, who must make a crucial decision about the World War II Normandy landing, alongside meteorologist James Stagg, who is played by Andrew Scott.

The film centers on the tense 72 hours before the D-Day invasion, as Eisenhower has to make the decision using Stagg's weather forecasts, amid difficult weather conditions.

With moments like this, it's easy to see why Brendan - even after large periods of time away from the spotlight - remains one of the loveliest men in Hollywood.
