Megan Fox has publicly blasted her ex Brian Austin Green in the Instagram comments of a picture of himself and one of the sons they share, prompting him to delete the photo entirely.
Yesterday, October 31, Austin Green posted a picture of himself and three-year-old Journey (the youngest of the three sons the former couple share together) in their Halloween costumes.

Needless to say, the seemingly innocent pic was inundated with comments calling him, "the best daddy". Other commenters wondered why the boys' mom (AKA Fox) is "never around".
Soon after the snap was posted, however, Fox shared a comment of her own, questioning why Austin Green didn't simply crop out their son from the pic, and why he was "so intoxicated with feeding the pervasive narrative" that she's an "absent mother".
This is what Fox wrote in her very public critique of Green's decision to post a snap with one of their sons:
"Why does Journey have to be in this picture? It’s not hard to crop them out. Or choose photos that they aren’t in.
"I had a great Halloween with them yesterday, and yet notice how absent they are from my social media.
"I know you love your kids. But I don’t know why you can’t stop using them to posture via Instagram. You’re so intoxicated with feeding the pervasive narrative that I’m an absent mother, and you are the perennial, eternally dedicated dad of the year.
"You have them half of the time. Congratulations you truly are a remarkable human!
"Why do you need the internet to echo back to you what should be inexhaustibly evident in the way your children love you?"
Perhaps unsurprisingly, Austin Green speedily deleted the photo after being put on blast by his ex.
This comes after Austin Green appeared to throw shade at Fox back in August after she posted a snap of herself and her new boyfriend Machine Gun Kelly, months after their own split.
On August 5, Fox posted a photo of herself and the 30-year-old rapper each wearing towels, along with the caption: "Achingly Beautiful Boy … My heart is yours."
That same day, Austin Green posted photos of the sons he and Fox share: Noah Shannon, 7, Bodhi Ransom, 6, and Journey River, 3. Also included in the photos was his eldest son Kassius, 18, whose mother is Vanessa Marcil.
Roasting his ex's caption, Austin Green wrote: "Achingly beautiful boys … My heart is yours."
Per News.com.au, Austin Green announced their split in May during an episode of his podcast, saying: "I think it’s going as well as it can. There’s no rule book to it. There’s no way of doing it right or doing it wrong."
"We are learning as we go. The important thing for us is just communicating as much as we can."
