Brooklyn Beckham's recent explosive statement about his family’s “values” and how they have allegedly treated his wife, Nicola Peltz, has caused a fair bit of chaos.
In his Instagram post, Brooklyn highlighted what he described as "disrespect" from his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, towards Nicola.
This has sparked a whirlwind of controversy, with many fans torn between sides.
Now, singer Tallia Storm, who once dated Brooklyn as a teenager, has come forward to share her own experiences with the Beckham family, offering an intriguing perspective on the ongoing rift.
Tallia Storm Remembers Her Teenage Romance with Brooklyn Beckham
Tallia Storm, a singer from Glasgow, opened up about her relationship with Brooklyn, calling him her “first love” when they were both 16.
In an interview with the Mirror, she reflected on their youthful connection, saying: "We were just 16. I was the first girl that had ever been spotted with Brooklyn."
As Brooklyn’s public statements about the alleged family tensions have gained widespread attention, fans have begun to take sides.
For Tallia, there’s no doubt about where her loyalty lies: “I’m 100 percent Team Brooklyn,” she said, making it clear she stands by him amidst the controversy.
A Chaotic Night Out with Brooklyn and the Beckham Family
Tallia also recalled a memorable night in 2014 when she invited Brooklyn to attend one of her performances at a gig in Hanover Square.
What started as a fun night quickly escalated into a surreal experience when Victoria Beckham reportedly sent a security team to check the venue earlier in the day.
“I thought it’s not that deep, but er, OK!" Tallia said of the situation.
The events only became more overwhelming as the night went on. “When we went to the gig that night, Brooklyn came in with my sister as I was sound-checking – and then when we left with his security, there were like 20 paparazzi outside,” she explained.
For Tallia, it was a shocking first taste of the intense celebrity attention that Brooklyn was accustomed to.
She added: “It was my first experience of anything like this, it was wild. I got such a fright – I did not want Brooklyn to think I’d called the paps!”
A Heartbreaking Snub at the Global Gift Gala
Tallia’s relationship with Brooklyn also led her to the star-studded Global Gift Gala, hosted by actress Eva Longoria, a close friend of Victoria Beckham.
Tallia had been excited to attend, believing everything would go smoothly.
However, Brooklyn’s sudden change of plans that night left her feeling let down.
“I was meant to sit next to Brooklyn, we were all super excited – and then he messaged me on the night itself, when I was already inside, saying, my mum won’t let me come, I’m sorry. And that was that. Obviously, Victoria didn’t like me or whatever.”
While she admits that their relationship was relatively brief, Tallia still remembers it fondly. “Every time I’ve seen him, years on, he’s so cool, so lovely, no big deal. But that’s the example of a PR storm that was just so… unnecessary.”
Tallia revealed that her connection with Brooklyn has had lasting effects on her public image.
She shared: “It’s always made me look like I was some sort of fame-hungry wannabe. It’s like a bit of a sticky web and not something I ever want to engage in.”
Despite the challenges, Tallia has made it clear she’s never sought to profit from her past with Brooklyn. “I have never accepted a penny from anyone wanting to talk about Brooklyn,” she said.
Standing by Brooklyn Amid the Family Feud
Now, with Brooklyn’s recent statement about his family dynamics, Tallia has shown her support for him.
“My first thought was, good for him. People have all heard a million stories over the years, and I just think, God bless Brooklyn for just coming out and sticking up for himself,” she said.
She believes that Brooklyn has been under intense scrutiny for much of his life, particularly within the “Beckham web.”
“I think what that boy has gone through over all these years, in that Beckham ‘web’, as I call it, is a lot. It’s a lot on any person. So, good on him, saying, ‘enough is enough.’ This is him taking back his power,” Tallia expressed.
Nicola Peltz: Brooklyn’s Soulmate
When it comes to Brooklyn’s wife, Nicola Peltz, who has faced criticism in the media for allegedly “controlling” Brooklyn during the family feud, Tallia shared her thoughts.
Though she has never met Nicola personally, Tallia firmly believes that Nicola and Brooklyn are a perfect match.
“I do think Nicola is Brooklyn’s soulmate. And I do think they’re a little dream team. Good for him, for taking a stand. I’m proud of him,” Tallia said.
