Camila Cabello has shared an inspiring message of self-love and acceptance for her fans.
The pop icon, 24, is embracing her "stretch marks and fat" because "being at war with your body is so last season."
Taking to TikTok, she told her 9.9 million followers on the platform that she had gone out for a run when she realized that her belly was showing. But rather than panic because it wasn't "tucked in", she reminded herself that being self-conscious about it will not serve her in any way.
Check out her incredible message below:"I was just running in the park minding my own business trying to be fit, trying to keep it healthy," Camila recalled.
"And I am wearing a top that shows my belly," she said, before adjusting the camera so that viewers could see a glimpse of her belly.
"And I wasn't tucking it in, because I was running and existing like a normal person that doesn't tuck it in all the time," she continued in her usual animated manner. "And I was like, 'Damn.' But then I reminded myself being at war with your body is so last season."
The 'Señorita' then added: "I am grateful for this body that lets me do what I need to do. We are real women with curves and cellulite and stretch marks and fat. And we gotta own that, baby."
Needless to say, her fans were over the moon to hear that their idol, an acutal bona fide celebrity, was able to overcome her insecurities - especially given that she is constantly under scrutiny by the media.
One person said: "Babes you are just so beautiful inside and out, thank you for being a positive light."
Another chimed in, saying: "I love you! This made me feel more confident about myself!"
A third shared: "I usually find these kinds of posts annoying but I actually sort of needed to hear it today so thank you. Also, you look amazing and healthy."
Does anything else feel a rush of self-confidence right about now? Because we do!
