Chelsea Handler has offered to pay 50 Cent's taxes for him if he changes his mind and votes for Democratic candidate Joe Biden in the upcoming presidential election.
50 Cent has been outspoken in recent days with regards to the election, and even took to Instagram to urge his followers to vote for Donald Trump.
Taking to his official Instagram account on Monday, October 19, the 45-year-old rapper shared a screenshot of a TV screen that appeared to show the Democratic presidential candidate's reported tax rate plans for New York City, New York State, California, and New Jersey.
In a post addressed to his 26.2 million Instagram followers, an outraged 50 Cent wrote:
"WHAT THE F***! (VOTE For TRUMP) IM OUT, F*** NEW YORK The KNICKS never win anyway. I don’t care Trump doesn’t like black people 62% are you out of ya f***ing mind. [sic]"
The rapper later appeared to double down on his comments, after taking to Twitter to share a recording of a Fox News broadcast story about his previous Instagram post.
The televised segment included a tweet from Trump adviser Katrina Pierson, who wrote to her 681,000 followers: "I guess 50 cent don’t want to end up 20 cent [sic]" in reference to Biden's taxation plans.
50 Cent was apparently in agreement with this sentiment, and captioned the video he shared with his 12.3 million followers:
"Yeah, i don’t want to be 20cent. 62% is a very, very, bad idea.i don’t like it ! #abcforlife #starzgettheapp."
Now, 45-year-old comedian Handler has offered to pay 50 Cent's taxes, as long as he reconsiders his support for Trump.
Handler initially replied to the rapper's support of the current president by replying to him on Twitter, writing, "You used to be my favorite ex-boyfriend."
"[Oh] my God this is effecting my love life now [sic]. @chelseahandler I love ya Gator, don’t let Trump and Joe Biden come between us girl. #starzgettheapp" He wrote.
Handler then responded once more with her offer, writing, "Hey f*****! I will pay your taxes in exchange for you coming to your senses. Happily! Black lives matter. That’s you, f*****! Remember?"
Per Billboard, the pair dated briefly back in 2010 after 50 Cent appeared on Chelsea Lately.
According to Billboard, the rapper told talk show host James Corden in 2019 that he turned down Trump's $500,000 offer to appear at his presidential inauguration in 2016, stating: "All money's not good money. You've got to be careful what you're doing publicly."
